    N/A Wall hangers?

Good grief, that top 300s just gave me my first ever gungasm. Now off for a cigarette and lay down.....

What springer did you shoot today?

Been shooting the Crosman Summit 4.5mm every day for a fortnight, and can't get enough. Was a total lemon out of the box though (not unexpected, but all pellets grouped close to 3" !) but after sorting out the barrel (crown, leade in and bore polish), making up a set of guides (and balancing...

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Very nice, and interesting....my 77k has the 25mm comp tube and I ended up at about 165gr and 90mm stroke 👍

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Will have to see what stroke I can squeeze out of it before making any decisions (assuming it's close to 90mm already?). The set up on the recent cometas has proven to make for a nice cycle, despite the accepted wisdom surrounding what makes for a good tune, but then again....I guess that boils...

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Hard to beat a sorted .22 springer (but then I'm coming at it from a hunting perspective only!). Am a sucker for a chifle though, and have a .177 TH208 arriving soon (missing its piston/ trigger) as a project. Have a T01 piston and trigger set on the shelf for the easy route, but....considering...

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Only did it on my 77k as despite what everybody says, found it hold sensitive, hard work, and unpleasant. In the end opened TP to 3.8mm (to compensate for weight loss) running a meteor spring for early 11's. Truth is I don't like super fast cycles really, but....it was something to do....

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Just to reiterate, you cannot go skirtless in a break barrel, unless you are going to incorporate a secondary sliding compression tube within, that has a clever seal and locks via the cocking shoe/ arm. I'm toying with the idea right now as it happens, but the increase in TP/ lost volume is...

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

You may read that it is possible to grind the HW sear to take a TX rod (like I did) but I wouldn't recommend it. Yes it will function for a while, but may end up looking like this- The sear in the first pic is one of the ones a fella had made and correctly hardened over here (can't remember...

All been covered, but basically you'll need to end up with this-

Umarex Notos same as PP750 ?

Know exactly what you mean. It's funny, I built this 750 up in 2021 for cheap fun..... .....and when the Notos came out couldn't help but think 'that looks familiar' 🤔😂

HW/Weihrauch I think this 1974 HW30 may need some attention...

It's what they knew back then ey, and hard to argue with their logic.....that piston was still producing the goods 50yrs on 🤷‍♂️

HW/Weihrauch I think this 1974 HW30 may need some attention...

Wowza, that piston has had the 'a few drops of engine oil down the port will keep that seal good for years' treatment....

    Custom Painting your beloved Airgun

    Custom Painting your beloved Airgun

Was just in the 'what did you do today' thread OldV. Its still coming together (slowly) sir, got the general parts roughed/ layed out for the trigger.... .....next step is milling out the trigger housing 👍

    Lets see some gun rests

This one has a built in recoil absorber..... Joking aside, after Mrs UK finished playing I shot my first ever 5mm 5 shot group at 25y from that blue roll.....and through a Chinese XS38 of all things!

What springer did you shoot today?

It's just about impossible to find fault with the AA springers, from a shooters and tinkerers prospective (the design and finish are both superb), but.....there is no way I could use this TX as a day to day hunter.....my elbows just aren't up to taking the 4+ kg weight free standing/ unsupported...

What springer did you shoot today?

Hi John, Got a few options on the shelf. Generally stick a sidewinder on for testing (6.5-20, to see what the gun can really do) but ultimately it'll wear a fixed 4 or 6 mag 80's/90's Jap scope (Nikko/ Kasner/ N stirling or ASI). Get alot of elbow pain these days, so can't see me using this TX...

What springer did you shoot today?

Picked up a full length TX in .22, so gave it a little service and set up over chrony. Hoping to scope her up tomorrow....
