Pellets are most accurate at speeds between 860 and 920, with the sweet spot being around 880 fps. Your experience is not surprising.

I’ve pulled the barrel out of my M3 without loosening those front “clamp” screws . Maybe the Saber top rail caused some deformation in the frame by incorrect installation. You’re supposed to tighten the screws from the middle working towards the ends.

Won’t the scopes get dusty being stored out in the open? I can see a practical use for them, however. Using them to mount several scopes side by side to run comparison tests.

My M3 shoots pellets very well at 100 yds. The scatter is more my fault in judging the wind. If considering a .30, I definitely would go Sniper.
