    Compact scope recommendations

I have a buddy with a Veyron compact SFP and he is looking for something better. He is having trouble seeing the crosshairs and is wanting something that has a thicker reticle. He would like a light weight compact and is willing to go as high as $700-800. What would you suggest out of the...

For you "I fill my own tanks" PSA

79% of the air we breathe is nitrogen. It is totally safe and is the perfect solution to our moisture problem. Unfortunately, it has gotten too expensive for us around here. Our local gas supply company has been bought out by a big national chain and the guy who used to give us a good deal on it...

N/A Which of your airguns would you choose for a 60yd target for only one shot?

I would grab my Veteran 1 in .25. I know it’s going to hit where I aim no matter how long it’s been sitting in the safe. No POI shift or first shot low. As solid of a gun you can get.

What do you guys/gals think? ,your opinion wanted.

I have two Taipan Veteran 1’s, a Vulcan 3 and a Prophet 2, all of which are ambidextrous. You would be satisfied with any of them. I, personally, would steer you towards the Prophet or the Veterans, the Vulcan has a very annoying ping.

Taipan Comparing the Taipan Slash compared to the Huben K1 - Whether to buy a 1st release model instead of waiting for new owner feedback

I understand the concerns about a new model, but Taipan has never put out anything that has had a problem that I know of. Anything can happen, but if I were a betting man, I’d be willing bet that the Slash will have the same glowing reviews that the previous models have had. I hope in a year I...

    New guy needing advice/ guidance....

Regarding tethering a 250 bar gun to a SCBA, instead of having the expense of a regulator, you could always use the tank down to 250 bar and then tether to it and shoot until you get near your regulator pressure your gun is set at.

    22cal Airgun for Wildboar Hunting!?

I shot a boar years ago right behind the shoulder with a 150 grain Corelok from a 30-30 at 20 yards. Complete pass through, he flopped in his tracks, laid there a few seconds and jumped up and ran full steam right at me. Another one between the eyes dropped him a few feet in front of me. That’s...

2 cylinder tuxing 4500 psi compressor PRV

I used to shoot nitrogen years ago when it was affordable, unfortunately now it’s stupid money around here. If you’re just going to use it to top off above 5000 it should last you a while. Hopefully you can get a better deal than we have here.

    Ftlbs for pesting indoors

Thanks for all of replies guys, I went this morning and the wind was howling! This a business that opens early so I didn’t have a lot of time. I managed to get about 15 birds though, pretty good considering the conditions. They open late on Tuesday so I’ll have a chance to get in more trigger...

    Ftlbs for pesting indoors

Just wondering what the consensus was out there. I have a pesting job that has come up and since I’m new to this I was wondering what kind of energy would be good to avoid damaging a 26 gauge metal roof. I have my Prophet shooting 8 grain .177 at 780. Is this too much if I pick my shots...

    New member and airgun noob

Welcome to the forum, I’ve been in the PCP scene for 10 years, my advice is to you is keep on doing what you’re doing. Read on this forum and take your time. I said when I first got into this that I would never pay $1000 for a pellet gun, I have had several that cost way more than that! It’s a...
