N/A Break barrel for Survival Hunting Bugout

To me, the whole idea of bugging out in an emergency without a known and prepared destination is extremely dubious, particularly if the place you’re bugging out to is just “the wilderness”. Most wilderness areas either aren’t very hospitable or aren’t really wilderness. If you haven’t done...

A word of warning regarding .30 Apolo pellets. They are oversized. I bought way too many because they were dirt cheap and I'm going to try resizing them and see how they do. They might still turn out to be a good deal. I paid about 6 cents apiece for them, which for .30 pellets is a very...

    Crazy price of used guns

Depends on the price and the person. If someone has a mountain of good reviews and has been here for six years then I assume he is trustworthy. If someone is selling something for $150 or less but doesn’t have any reviews then I’ll just take the chance and hope I don’t get ripped off. If...

    Crazy price of used guns

Agree entirely. Even if the gun is NIB, you’re not a retailer with a warranty and I’m taking a risk when I deal with you. You might rip me off and send me nothing. I might find the NIB rifle is defective and that’s why you didn’t want it. We pay a premium when we buy from AOA, Pyramyd or...

Look for Benjamin single die pellets. I've seen those for sale at some of the Cabelas/Sportsmans Warehouse type big box stores. They seem to be excellent.

It'd probably be way worse than it is now too because there would suddenly be lots of hungry and desperate people out there too and all the game would be gone in short order.

A steroid 392 really is pretty close to ideal for that role. They're light, rugged, powerful and self-contained. It's really too bad they didn't come with dovetails and a threaded muzzle. I've been searching for the best multi-pump rifle for awhile now and so far it's the Steroid 392.

Bummer. I was hoping they were linked with ASG or something.

Do you have any sources for this? I'm thrilled to hear it, since I'd rather not see what has been a fantastic manufacturer disappear from the US, but everything I've read for the past couple of years has indicated that they were based in China.

Huben is a company that seems to defy the stereotypes. Not only are the K1 and GK1 extremely good, so are the Huben moderators and the Huben hand pumps. Their hand pump weighs less than half of any other pump on the market and pumps up to 5000 psi.

N/A Break barrel for Survival Hunting Bugout

Huben hand pump is about 2.5 lbs, but if you’re traveling on foot you shouldn’t be bothering with an airgun. In a survival situation I would only see an airgun as something that you have with you in your vehicle or your dwelling. Behind the seat of your truck or in your cabin in the woods a...

Maybe it was my VPN that was messing things up, but it shouldn’t have since I had entered my actual shipping address as a part of the ordering process.

^^This^^ X's 10. If you're going to bug out, you need a place to bug out to with shelter and supplies and the ideal time to bug out is years in advance. Personally, if I were choosing a single airgun as a survival tool it would be my AA S410E. It's very accurate, very quiet, powerful...

I was going to order the Benjamin Trail XL he has for sale a few days ago and got all the way to the end of the process. $120 shipping fee! No, thank you!

Tariffs Explained - Pyramyd AIR Insyder

This is a link to a very level-headed examination of the current situation regarding shipping and imports. The guy knows his stuff and doesn't get into politics.

Given the price and selection of .177 I can't see doing it unless you're really into heavy slugs or something.

I think it's shaping up to be that way. I live in a port city and the number of container ships are way down. On a bright note however, I'm guessing that there might be some bargains out there on shipping containers soon. They make fantastic secure storage buildings.

I don't know about their current availability, but I've had good luck with both H&N FTT's and Norma Domes and both are very reasonably priced. The H&N's seem to be more accurate in most of my rifles, but the Normas aren't bad pellets by any means. Last summer Pyramyd was selling the variety...

    The Amazing China airguns.

To some degree I think the problem is with mainland Chinese culture. The way I had it explained to me was that for generations now in China it has been the case that the government or crooks connected with it might just decide to shut your business down or rip you off at any given time and if...

    Another ammo horde!

I think I have you beat. It’s hard to say though because I have them dispersed in several locations. I’ve got at least 10k each of .177, .22 and .30, but I think my stock of .25 is about half of that. It’s hard to say though. I found a few tins of .25 Webley Mosquitoes the other day that I...
