    Hot swap bottles or valves

Hot swapping most bottles is possible, may have to degass some valves first. Hot swapping tubes is possible on the very few tube pcp's that have screw fit removable tubes. Most don't. Example is the Jet 1. Hope this helps but I'm not really the guy who the answers just saw the post

    PCP then springer?

My first gun was an HW35 in .177 I got about six months ago. Enjoying it in many ways. It works as I can only shoot 40 yds to paper at home and 15yds n the basement. Anything more I need to drive half an hour, pay and be social. Perhaps in time. I lurked here a month or so prior reading...

    High end airgun recommendation

from the daystate, fx, and a few other rifles i have owned and shot, my favorite, most dependable shooter is my taipan mutant (predecessor to the veteran). Taipan makes an incredible platform. It was my first high end pcp, almost 10 years ago, and still my favorite.

Other $100 pcp, Pellets Jamed in barrel

So, I purchased a beeman raider in .25 as I wanted a cheep .25 pcp to mess with. It was posted as leaking pcp on the online auctions for $100. Low and behold when it arrived I noticed the breech oring was on the bolt probe. A pellet fell out of the barrel and I knew that a pellet was jammed...

BSA BSA Ultta MMC. Outdated odd duck or just cool?

I had my eye on that gun many years ago. The moment they updated it to the Ultra SE I bought one. It was the first good PCP I owned and I still have it. It hits exactly where I aim just like the guns I’m overpaying for 15 years later.

    Airforce Talonp .25cal

...I would expect out of that gun - is this a recent model or an older one? Ithink i was getting mid 60's with 48 grain BBT slugs and MP molds .25s but i don't think i was near the highest hammer preload. I ended up putting an 18 inch barrel on it. It really is the perfect first PCP (it was mine).

Skout Airguns Invitational Live Stream with giveaways

I'm shopping for my first PCP and an Evo is on my short list. Can you talk about why a person would buy one over the competition? I'd also like to hear a rebuttal for some complaints I've seen about leaking. And finally, what makes these guns so heavy? As for giveaways, a gun would be nice, but...

    Frist Timer here...

My first was a Umarex Synergis 22 . I was so impressed I fell into this hobby and now have what is called pcp. The Komplete as you probably know requires cartridges which are expensive. The break action Synergis is a good accurate short range gun. Have only read about the Hatsan Jet and was...

N/A Time travel, to buying your first PCP

...the PCP trail and haven’t left. We just buy more. I see a number of posts about people inquiring about certain rifles and it being their first PCP. How about a thread where we say what we wish we bought first, it might even be what we bought. 1. What do you wish you bought at the time? Try...

Hatsan tearing down your gun for the first time

Well I finally conquered my anxiety about tearing my new Hatsan At44 177 down. I had been trying my best to ignore the crunchy grinding sound each time I pulled on the cocking lever. I thought it's new and just needs to be broken in. Well after about a thousand shots and still crunchy bunches of...

I jumped in with both feet, now what?

Thanks for all the helpful info. I have a lot of the shooting and measuring stuff from shooting benchrest. The PCP deal is new, I did not research as much as I should have. Looks like I got some reading to do. I did not know both are semi auto. Now I start gathering things up. Compressor...

N/A Recommendations on short range PCPs

Based on your first post and without knowing what you want to do with it I’ll say Benjamin Maximus. Way below your budget, pcp, lightweight and accurate to 50 at least. Synthetic stock, easy to carry and light enough old tired people like me and most kids can handle and enjoy shooting it. Rick H.

My most memorable shot was the first time I shot my first PCP. My .22 Mrod. Was so surprised by how quiet it was compared to the pellet hitting the target. All down hill real fast after that lol

    Calling it quits from Edgun

Yeah, Brian can be a bit...tough to deal with, sometimes. I've only dealt with in emails and on the phone, never in person. My first PCP gun, Lelya 2 is still running well. Mike

Hatsan Should I modify a new pcp air rifle and if so which one?

I totaly agree with Gerry 52, Why don't you learn to become a great shooter first? Show me.It Save your money for a known quality PCP and then go from there... ,go ahead and modify. Check out the Pistol section,Crosman 2400. They kick booty; look much better than rifles, plus there are more...
