N/A Break barrel for Survival Hunting Bugout

after living in the high Sierra mountains most of my life, camping, backpacking and horse packing.. id give the average person a week out in the woods bugging out.. doubt most would make it a month..a year.. well that's only if they have a cabin hidden out in the woods that people won't notice...

    who's thankful??

so I have a funny question, how many of you who don't post saying that you are thankful wouldn't mind if all of a sudden this wonderful site didn't exist..or the moderator just deleted you 🤣 thankfully I don't think that's likely, but I just thought we ought to show some thankfulness Mark

Any Airgun 200 yard bench rest shooter out there?

I didn't know that even existed, figured it would have to be a camera down by the target 🤣 but protected so it wasn't accidentally a target.. so much new technology! Mark

Any Airgun 200 yard bench rest shooter out there?

if you are wanting to set up a range that will be really user friendly, might want to look into remote camera like we see in the demo videos? but I don't know if they even have like a wireless monitor or if you would need to use wired surveillance cameras.. just a thought.. Mark

    crossman pellets

just wanted to let everyone know, I used to buy the crossman premier hollow point 14 grain pellets 22 caliber at Walmart. they no longer have them, they were a good buy at $6-7.. there's still various 177 but nothing in 22 and the other brands are I think more expensive than pyramid air...

    Best looking gun !

well I'll keep this to PCP, but honestly it's my Henry Golden boy's.. my favorite is hopefully showing up Friday.. Seneca eagle claw.. but another favorite I don't have is the Drs classic with the long barrel and big pelenium.. actually it's the only FX that interest me. Mark

HW/Weihrauch What gun did you wish you’d have kept?

wish I had kept my brocock 522 kit.. Parco 22 foot pump survival rifle, Farco 28 gauge shotgun.. those are basically unreplaceable, especially with my budget.. the rest that I wish I had was Beeman P1 in 177 and RWS Diana 48 in 22 caliber. Mark

N/A Break barrel for Survival Hunting Bugout

your exactly spot on.. I have several knives from cold steel and they are the best in my experience.. but as to your post, one that was always on the pack horse seemed like a crude knife, very strong but black finish and the handle was part of the blade bent around in a taper so you could use a...

RTI Prophet 2.1 .177 shooting slugs-to polish barrel or not

I'd rather see you try a couple different calibers.. like if you were using 22 caliber..I use 217.. but if you are not happy with it then if it was 22 caliber I'd try 216,2165,2175 etc..sorry I'm not familiar with the sizes available in 177 so I gave the examples in my caliber.. now I don't know...

N/A Break barrel for Survival Hunting Bugout

I don't have a single airgun id take if I was in a bug out situation.. bearcat and Wrangler and Henry Golden boy would be the ones I'd choose, but I'd better find a friendly bear to cuddle with if I'm not going to die of hypothermia the first night in the summer.. winter I'd be better off...
