For distance shooting I would get an Athlon ARES ETR 4.5 to 30 x56. By distance I mean 75 yards and longer. For 75 yards and in I would use something less powerful. Why because minimum distance on this scope is 25 yards.

Right on! I was looking online last night and saw the accessories for the wildcat mk3 bt and did see the slug kit was available. Ted Holdover only added the slug power kit as well and shoots both slugs and pellets this way. I think that I will order mine that way as well. Thanks for the info.

What convinced me to go with the wildcat mk3 bt was Ted’s Holdover. He said if you are more of a bench shooter then go with the impact. Otherwise go with the wildcats. Which is his favorite FX air rifle

I know that I’m late to this party but I agree. Buy a wildcat mk3 bt. The impact is more of a bench shooter and it’s FX’s flagship air rifle. If you like to tinker then by all means buy an impact. Personally I’m going with the wildcat
