Immersicve optics 14x50 .. Clear as can be down to 6 yards.. People think 14 power is only for long distance.. I think the field mouse I shot from 6 yards last night would disagree :)

I agree... Love my 14x50. Fantastic scope.

My shorty is dialed down to about 14.5 fpe in .22 It shoots the crossman 14.3 hollowpoints like a champ, and uses pretty much exactly one bar per shot.. So 110 shots from 250 to 140 bar! Crazy efficient little gun, and field mice in my backyard are not big fans of it :)

Any gun I own needs to shoot the Crossman hollow points accurately.. My vet shorty shoots them beautifully. I have them dialed down to 680fps for 25 years and in. Starlings and field mice in my backyard never see them coming, and they never miss. That makes me one very happy cheap bastard :)

Thanks WM.. I opened it up, and actually I have one cigarette filter in mine and 4 discs.. I took 3 of them out now.. The cigarette shaped piece fits perfectly in the end of the tube. To me, it seems like it is the perfect size for end end hole where it slides in.

I bought one of these to attach to my hand pump.. This is likely a a dumb question, but how many of these little discs are you supposed to put inside the tube? Are they meant to be crammed in there till it's full, or does one or 2 discs do the job? I have 3 or 4 in there, but it seems to be...

The 6-24x50 is now saying 2-4 week lead time on their website.. getting better!

I tried to buy one tonight, and the price has changed back to 219.99. I guess they realized they made a mistake and put it back to normal.. Let me know if anyone else is still able to get that lower price.

If one filter can remove 90-95% of moisture, would it make sense to string 2 of them back to back to maybe catch almost everything?

I'm shooting my taipan vet shorty at 10 fpe in .22 cal for backyard stuff of 25 yards and in. Crossmans hollow points flying at only 560 fps, and insanely accurate and quiet. No way neighbors would get "wind" of what is happening over here :)

I have my streamline set at lowest power setting for taking out field mice in the backyard. Great to have the slow speeds to not have pellets do any damage to anything other than the poor mice :) At those low speeds it is also deadly accurate up to 25 yards.
