yeah, They key is raise reg till you get no effect (on velocity), then raise hammer till is has no effect (on velocity), then raise reg, then raise hammer, etc. Raise reg maybe 5 or 10 bar at a time when you get close.
So the higher the regulator pressure is the more pressure it has closing the valve.... So you have to increase the hammer Spring tension when the reg is turned up. So it will have enough power to open the valve. You want to increase the hammer Spring tension until it no longer has an effect...
That would be a pain in the butt for the factory. Now I see the genius of a design like the Impact. Way ahead! I do hope my new $3600 Black Wolf will have the ability to index. Deposit put down, stack of $100 bills sitting here waiting for arrival. It is multi caliber....so hopefully.
The Macro setting has no effect on the gun. So those 2 settings are the same. With 16, you can go down with the Macro wheel. With the 8 you can go up or down.
Yes, I would hope that in a high end gun with a fixed barrel: Like a Daystate, would have the barrel indexed perfectly at the factory. How horrible would that be if they didn't? The gun would be useless for longe range shooting on the fly. You would have to site in at every distance you shoot.
Full demo in 5 minutes with a beautiful Skout Epoch dirty .30. This will work with ANY airgun barrel that can be indexed (spun). Thanks for watching! -Nate
