That’s exactly happened to mine and solved. It seemed to work itself out.

Update to this Westhunter scope. It’s holding up on my tikka 308. The scope caps suck and the reticle is very fine. But it holds zero and the glass is not too bad. I still like the Discovery ED and Vecfor Continental lines but this is a close third place. Awesome price for this amount of scope...

Thank you I agree and did not. I wish though I can find someone that makes thick whole barrels not liners for fx and also non choked I here so much problems with choked liners.

Are u sure the stock is not holding it down. Strange as mine turns so easily. There is something binding it.
