    Was surprised myself 🥴

    Marauder pistol/Wood Grips/Trigger reset

Don’t tighten the grips too much, particularly the right side that has the removable plastic plate.

BNM breeches are not commonly seen nowadays 👍 A pity I ignored GMAC’s version while they were still available.

I plan to ask Tony Mele again (he refused me the last time when I queried about a Disco stock) if he can make 2 for me. I’d be willing to pay $250 to $300 if he says OUI. I think he’ll consider it if there’s a demand. That gent makes superb 10/22 stocks; had 3 of his but my interest in...

Not mine. I very much like his version of the Crosman 1399 butt stock. Somewhat rough but I do like it 👍

Hawke 2-7x32 AO IR - Mil Dot Reticle visibility

I don’t have the non-IR wire, but I have peered thru one. I find it thick for my taste, although not as thick as those UTG/Leapers wire reticles. Saying this, I much prefer the glass-etched IR mildot version; have it on my Crosman 2400KT in the Philippines for rat pesting 👍

Any experiences with Hawke 2-7x32 ao IR?

It’s not super fine for me; Bushnell’s MOA Deploy reticle is finer. Got the old model 4-12 and the 2-7 IR glass-etched Hawkes. Moreover, it’s a mildot, so those dots should give you bigger and more visible reference points unlike the AMX.

Set screws, cap screws, and button screws—-all in hex—-in brass from McMaster and Amazon… Stainless screws would never look right, IMHO, for this brass and SS build 👍

$20 Alliance Hobby blade and $40 Don Cothran Roller Trigger; both are in brass, obviously:

What pistol did you shoot today

For anodized parts, there are several paintball shops that do standard or custom anodizing, so that would be your best bet.

What pistol did you shoot today

Was it a paintball company that you got in touch with? They’d be the best choice as the parts are similarly shaped.

What pistol did you shoot today

What color Are you planning to have some parts done in copper as well? Yes, I don’t think it’s possible to duplicate anodized parts via paint. The only way to replicate it is to have all parts done in a single batch.

Gunkoted 1720T and PROD uppers. I found Cerakote too flimsy, so I had it redone in Gunkote, and it does seem tougher 👍

$20 Alliance Hobby vs $40 Don Cothran. Though unadvertised, DC still has brass triggers for sale 👍

    Question for everyone.

If you have a Sportsman’s WH near your place check out the Bushnell R5 (not the R3) with the DOA-LRH800 reticle (floating center dot and hash marks). Their highest mag is just at 18x though, particularly their 6-18x50 model. They only come in 1” tubes (my preference, frankly), but you need to...

    HW/Weihrauch Custom stocks

The last time I corresponded with him was in '22; I wanted a Disco stock but no dice. I have his CP number but do PM me if you need it.
