Looks good. Do you have the power washers in yours, or is it stock? I'm guessing you are having to single load these?

@airgun-hobbiest... Appreciate the heads up. I'll try them and see which ones I like. As easy as it is to double load, I'm not as worried about how they fit in the magazine. But if I get smarter it would be nice to be able to use it

@quad82 that is good to hear. I knew it shouldn't be an issue, I guess what I meant was something that was shooting well, because the round ball wouldn't get me there. The fact that the 350 mold is shooting well for you is exciting to hear. As I'd like to start doing some casting.

First Hog Hunt AEA Challenger 457

@quad82 I couldn't ever get mine to group, I though because of the moving scope mounts, so I actually cut my tail down and removed the foregrip. I was shooting .454 (Hornady 44) round ball with it, but I'm still looking for the slug to feed the Challenger Bullpup to get me accuracy and over 400...

Not a derail at all... I had to buy new round ball for the Challenger as the Bully was .454, I'd love to know what works in your Challenger. As far as the Bully, I am about to list it... We have a 357 Carnivore which is my favorite gun (powder or not) that I have ever shot... And the .45...

Now it is Personal , Coyote attacked Titus when Colleen took him out side Today

Sounds rough all around. I am glad that Titus seems to be improving, and I wish you luck in eradicating the Coyotes. Congrats on killing the first one, now kill a bunch more.

I think being north of the 200 FPE is what you need in order to confidently take body shots. I know that there is a ton of video with springers and even more w/ 22, 25 PCP taking head shots at short ranges. I don't think I would feel adequately gunned for a "hog hunt" below 30 cal and 200...

Through and through... I want to say 147. I will say I'm likely going to get a single shot tray for it. It cycles fine but is entirely too easy to double load. Also, it's heavy, but I really enjoy shooting it compared to the Hatsan Bully I had before. The AEA is the cheapest gun that is deer...

First Hog Hunt AEA Challenger 457

I looked, but didn't convince my wife that I "needed" this gun until after Christmas and hunt was mid January... So I was limited on what I could try. I looked at NSA and Mr Hollowpoint stuff and I've also looked at Lee 340 RN to cast my own. But I haven't tried any of the above. And thanks!

That was a 80 lb hog... I had zeroed at 50 and was a ragged hole at 75... I tried Air Venturi 250 slugs and it didn't like them.

Didn't get any footage... Got 8 hours from home to figure out that my GoPro was on my desk in my office. It was really well charged when we got home... But 457 shoots awesome with Hornady Round ball. Ear holed at 67 yards.
