Welllll..... That's not entirely the case. My setup is in the annex (hope that's the right word, as I'm Dutch). The temperature will rise in the summer! As we speak, the water temperature has dropped from just under 18 degrees (inititial setup) to 13,5 degrees this moment. But still, I do...
I'm using the "EB-304", which has a flow rate of 800 liter per hour and a maximum lift of 1.6 meter. It's an awesome little pump! https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvnFzWl
I was told it is made from an aluminum alloy. If you don't want calcium deposit, use soft water. I'm in a somewhat lucky position, because we have a descaler that's connected to our main water supply.
@Chief Ten-Beers I'm using an external regulator on my tank. Works like a charm. https://huma-air.com/externally-adjustable-inline-pcp-regulator-with-integrated-fillset/
Yup, I run it in that position, but it's not against the wall actually. There is a 3 inch gap between it. The compressor itself is yet another rebrand. It's a VEVOR. About the setup... We've got a saying here in The Netherlands. "Beter goed gejat, dan slecht bedacht." I wouldn't know...
I'm using a 16 gallon pet food barrel, filled with soft water and an upgraded aquarium pump. That's it. It's all about volume. The temperature gauge on the compressor won't exceed 34 degrees Celsius when I fill my air cylinder to 300 bar. That's waaaaay below the mandatory shut off...
I really like the PP750 as a backyard gun. Very quiet as well, with a Weihrauch silencer. It really likes the JTS pellets! (10.5 inch drop in barrel installed) It's capable to shoot a 0.216 inch group @ 20 yards.
Exactly. (y) Imagine seeing someone performing DIY open-heart surgery on his child. "Yeah, it's OUR kid, so WE are supposed to fix it when it's broken." (No offense to anyone in this thread, just food for thought.)
That's just unbelievable. There is no reason whatsoever as why a simple single stage press should set you back that amount of money. For comparison, you could get a full options Dillon XL750 for the same price. So this: vs this: I'm trying to understand why it's so expensive...
