    Sightron S6 10-60x56

When comparing scopes do apples to apples. I think many take a quick look through a scope at a match and declare an opinion, good or bad but not an informed opinion. Unless you set up the focus properly before moving to the parallex adjustment your not getting true information. Compunding this...

    Black wolf prices

They only cost what they do because enough are willing to pay. Forget tariffs, cost of manufacturing, raw material price, whatever. If the overpriced items sat on the shelves and in the jobbers warehouse there would be more realistic prices. So between egos and greed to have the perceived...

Aide for Caldwell Rock BR shooting rest

Making the stock more stable in the bags is a great help. Do it on the butt also.Turning a 10.5 lb bench rifle into a 17.0 gun required more weight than I could fit inside the butt. I added these rails to balance the rifle and it aided tracking tremendously. It did require having Protector...

Air Arms How accurate is a springer- really

We had the thought of shooting at empty .22lr cases at 20 meters indoors as a match. It was way to easy. You almost had to try to miss. So really....pretty accurate in my mind.

Air Arms How accurate is a springer- really

Statistics don't win matches. Never heard of any 20 or 30 group matches. Yes the more you shoot the more outliers you MAY get. But meaningless in the real world of competitive shooting. Shoot five 5 shot groups and come up with the aggregate group size, that is worth something. Now would a 30...

    What reticle do you prefer?

If HAWKE had a floating dot and no Christmas tree crap in the Sidewinder line I would probably have a fleet of them instead of 2. I have a fleet of Sightron Stacs and SVEDs instead. I believe our scope and rifle manufacturers have been influenced by the gamer crowd.

Air Arms TX200 splits breach seals

I Don't know if the green denotes the material but they look look automotive AC seals. I used those seals on a friend's TX over a years ago, still going strong

    Beeman Talk about pellet fussy.

That's true but not always the answer. Time of flight is a consideration. Sometimes getting it to the target sooner results in less deflection although as the range increase the heavy projectile usually catches up and lessens deflection.

    Beeman Talk about pellet fussy.

For whatever it's worth I have a Tx200, 300s, LGU, 2-D75s and the best pellet shooting 20m and 25yd groups indoors is the JSB 4.52.Close second in several of these is the Air Arms 8.4. The crazy thing to me about head size preference is the total lack of quality control or consistency on head...

    Beeman Talk about pellet fussy.

Barrels like bullets/ pellets for who knows what reason. But I do know they like what they like and don't like what they don't like. Looks as though its fine with the AA8.4. If your shooting outdoors with out flags its a total crap shoot. A very light breeze you can hardly feel becomes deadly...

N/A Central Pa Airgun Match Results 4/17/25

A good time was had by all, especially 84 year old Nick Wacher who rode those floating dots on our new target to victory. We were shy some shooters last night due to bad backs. Sounds like a bunch of old guys who worked hard for years. In Nicks dust, actually out of his dust because they were so...

    N/A Speak up Springer Shooters

Well Beerthief I notmally agree with you on most everything but here is a true story. I started a springer benchrest match 2 years sgo once a month. I have had from 6 to 14 shooters, averaging about 10. Through this forum I have had roughly 15 inquiries, multiple phone conversasions with some...

Calling all pcp nerds: Torque Wrenches

I have read some articles that after testing said the various sticks are NOT as accurate or consistent as a ratchet style.
