    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Ok well I didn't send it in, so I fixed it myself. I picked up some metric allen wrenches and adjusted the power level myself. I got it just about where it was maybe just slightly over. It took almost 3/4 if not a full turn to the left to get it there. The screw wasn't tight and moved ok. Not...

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Thanks hobbyman for the info. AOA has been great they knew what i was talking about. I agree that its not a big deal adjusting the gun but if for some reason if break it or snap something, I own it. If they do it, they own it. Didn't realize it wouldn't void warranty. I will check the velocity...

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Thank you everyone who responded. I called AOA today and my gun falls under the life time warranty. They will fix and return it back to spec. I also decided to buy another HW110 in .22 laminate carbine. These HW 110’s fit me and my needs. Again thanks everyone for your responses.

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Thanks for the heads up, I will check that. I may give them a call, my gun is still under warranty.

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Well cleaning it did nothing, so I guess I will have to adjust that hammer spring. I will have to pick up some metric wrenches for the job. Thanks guys for the heads up on this. Is this a common thing in all PCP's?

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

Seems you can adjust the hammer spring on the 110. Going to clean barrel first. Try it and if its still low, i will adjust that hammer spring a bit. If that doesn't work, I will try a new hammer spring.

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

I'm going to try and clean the barrel. I have ballistol on hand. I have cleaned the barrel in the past but it seems that after shooting those slugs, it got worse. I don't believe that the HW110 can be taken apart like the HW100. I will do that tomorrow night see if that it improves the velocity.

    Weihrauch HW110 slight velocity drop

I have at least 2000 rounds through my HW110 .177 rifle. I noticed that the velocity is not what is was when new. Depending on pellets, I see a velocity decrease of 25 to 55 feet per second. Is this a normal thing with PCP's? I have seen small increments in velocity loss as time went on and now...

Humidity is high here in NH

I think your gun was vaping. Doesn't your gun know vaping is bad for it? What part of NH are you from? I live in Hooksett!

. 177 Cal, ideal thinking VS. Reality.

My .177 hits game so loud its crazy. It echo’s in the neighborhood. You know when you hit them, its that loud.

. 177 Cal, ideal thinking VS. Reality.

I don't know why some think the .177 isn’t capable of taking game. I never hard any problems killing woodchuck’s or any other small game. My gun shoots at 20 foot pounds, how much do you need. .177’s penetrate better than most larger pellets. Hunter extreme’s hit hard and expand in game. I have...

    Clueless on Pellets

Try the JSB's in 13.43 grains. Try both the new re-design and older JSB's. These shoot the best in my Weihrauch HW110. I'm sure they have the same barrel as the HW100.

    Weihrauch HW110 / JSB Hades v H&N Hunter Extreme’s

That HW110 is so quiet, but the thwack of hitting game is not. It echo's so loudly, but I kind of like it. When game is hit you know you hit them, without a doubt. I don't know if your 12 Foot Pound gun does that or not? My gun is pretty consistent in foot pounds between 18.5 to 21.5 depending...

    Weihrauch HW110 / JSB Hades v H&N Hunter Extreme’s

I know there seems to be a lot of love for the JSB Hades in every caliber. My .177 110 prefers the H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme’s and I do also. I have done some ballistic testing with three .177 pellets for hunting and accuracy. The most accurate in my rifle is without a doubt the 9.57 Hunter...

    HW110 owners?

My HW110 is the carbine with 16 inch barrel and is 38 inches overall with moderator. The HW 110 ST version is long 47 inches overall, that's one long barrel. I believe its 24 inches then add the moderator and its 47 inches overall. They make a shorter K version with smaller barrel and air...

. 177 Cal, ideal thinking VS. Reality.

I don't know why you think the .177 isn't as good as the .22. You have to factor in a few things. The .177 shoots flatter, penetrates extremely well. I owned a lot of rifles in many calibers and the 22 hits hard but so does the .177. Most of my guns are .177 by choice. They just shoot like a...

    HW110 owners?

Its the carbine in .177 with 16 inch barrel. Its really an awesome rifle. I cant stop shooting it. I get a good 40 shots before it tails off. 50 shots brings in just into the yellow zone. This gun hit hard! The sound of hitting prey is loud and much louder than when fired. Whats nice is I'm left...

    HW110 owners?

Congrats on the HW110! Laminated stocks are beautiful. My HW110 is the soft touch black but everything else is the same except caliber. I just installed a vortex 4x16x44 30mm tube. These guns shoot awesome.

    HW110 owners?

Hi Im new here but I have a HW110 in .177 and its an awesome rifle. I have the carbine version and its a perfect size for hunting and target. My gun shoots the redesigned jsb 13.43 pellets 830 velocity. Im getting a half inch group at 50 yards. I have been using the H&N Hunter Extreme 9.57 for...
