Well, I will try some lighter 22-24 grain range pellets next month. . And see how they shoot compared to my 31 grain pellets/slugs. I am gonna probably try these next.

    Let's talk pellets!

Oh crap? It's a good thing I got a tin of .30 grain barracuda pellets also. So the rifling will pose a problem it seems. The slugs I got are just 31 grain. Pellets run 30

    Let's talk pellets!

It's all gravy man. If they hit the target to your satisfaction. They are good. So far I seem pretty lucky with the Barracudas and slugs I got from H&N. But I am not averse to other pellets. It's what the air rifle wants in the end. Not me. I want to try some Eunjin pellets out. but at over 43...

Name a decent entry level airgun in the $250- $400 airgun price range. 25 to .30 caliber

If I do any PCP. Even an ASA high power single shot. I will have a 4 stroke hand pump. I found out 4 stroke pumps often get confused with 3 stroke. And 4 stroke are far less labrous to thgeir counterpart.

RWS Can anyone help id this springer?

I bought one of these knock off versions at a flea market in .22 in 2000. Oh my god it sucked. I was young and dumb. Never could get it tuned in or able to stay true every 50 shots.zzz Is there any markings on the inside or outside? Use a flashlight and see if anything pops up inside the rail...

    Is airgun interest going away?

Those hand pumps are not easy filling up a tank to 2000 - 4000 PSI either. Even a body builder will probably have to take a few 10 minute breaks as it gets very hard to pump by hand. Yeah ask me how I know. I tried that as a minimalist mindset. In a way you get free propellant. Thats the only...

Name a decent entry level airgun in the $250- $400 airgun price range. 25 to .30 caliber

I am of the mind set a good PCP at minimum. Including compressor and the works will set me back a goood. $1,200 if lucky. So for now I will be sticking with a break barrel set up. I do want a pcp. But this time I want something better than a $320 Origin. So far I am leaning to Diana products...

Best Tips on Shooting a Springer!

My best advice on shoooting springers is this. 1. Buy 2 or 3 different types of pellets and even a tin of slugs. find out what she likes best. 2. Watch your breathing and when you shoot a springer. I learned that less is more. What I mean by that is trying to hold the stock like shooting a 12...

    Let's talk pellets!

Thanks for letting me know. I got the plain Barracudas also. 31 grain slugs worth a shot. I will check them after closing and do accuracy tests. My thinking was that slugs tend to be a bit harder to damage in shipping over pellets. My thinking was also these are smaller shorter slugs and...

    Let's talk pellets!

I picked up a can of these today to try out. I figure 31 grain slugs should not be too hard for a 700 fps break barrel to push.

    Let's talk pellets!

I picked up a can of H&N Barracuda .25 cal pellets 30.86 grain. Shooting out of a proper working stock non modified Hatsan Zada. Roughly 700 to 750 range. So my question is this. 1. Is the H&N Barracuda a good all purpose round for general shooting targets and hunting both? 2. Should I go to 22...

N/A Where can I find a coil spring or type 2 gas piston for a frankenstein project?

Budget Hatsan Zada. No plans in the works now. Mine is new from box and shoots well. Just want a spare spring and piston seal. And trying to find a piston seal is becoming a real nightmare. Even Hatsan does not have the Zada size. May have to make something. Much prefer modern synthetic over...

Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum. Just having a hard time finding anyone but such and such *Insert Company Here* That's all fine. But I am looking for other sources. As more is better. So share some links. I also need help on having a custom piston seal made for an air rifle. Or any DIY...
