I don’t know how hard it would be to just bring it with you when you go up there? I am sure you have your reasons, but I would look into overcoming those obstacles instead. I don’t know where you are, but I don’t think transportation would pose any legal issues. 

If you get the sun behind you, you can see quite a few different slugs fly. My buddy has a pond and we shoot into the dam in the evening with the sun behind us. I have watched .45 slugs fly across the pond.
