Ok gang..pretty new to the pcp world. I have a .22 Gauntlet now and what to get a .25 cal for hunting. I can get a pretty good deal on a new synthetic stock Marauder. What do you all suggest and why?

Last week I bought a complete PCP set up ( Gauntlet 22 cal rifle, case, scuba tank, valve, and 3 packages of pellets) from Nathan (nak81783). I couldn't be happier with the transaction. Nathan was quick with all responses and we meet near his work during his lunch hour to make the purchase.

I just bought a Umarex Gauntlet and was wondering how necessary the barrel band is on these?

I agree this should be pinned. As a new guy I can say this is very pertinent information. I Spent 4 hours with kazooRichie at their air gun range on Saturday. It was a great experience and I will elaborate in a separate post.

I just called around where I live which is also a small town. The only place I found said they only fill CO2 paintball tanks not PCP rifle tanks. I am new so I don't know what the difference is other than I may have to buy an adapter. They also said they only fill by weight....does this sound...
