That's good to know. The LW barrel I'm installing is going to be slightly smaller too. I'd prefer to run a shroud since I'm adding some length to both the barrel and air tube with the XL plenum. Adding a moderate would just make this gun extremely long. Still a not as long as my Gauntlet though...

How does that kit mount on? The stock shroud uses only one grub screw, which irritates me. Does the Air-fective kit mount better? And is it worth the high cost in your opinion?

That was the information I didn't get to in my looking. So, aside from less air obstruction, what's the benefit of no spring?Seems like the spring does a good job of regulating the poppet dwell time.

These springs I've seen but they will be too light of a tension. The valve spring is very very heavy. The poppets look promising

Dang, thank you for helping me learn here! I wondered about the taper on this poppet being a pain to shape. I like your "caveman tool" remark. That's exactly what it would have to be at this point lol. Would delrin be easier with my hack tools? I am only asking to learn.
