Air Arms would like to know - Do you remember your first air rifle?

As a kid we had a cottage so spent a lot of time shooting airguns. Dad bought us a Crosman 2100 that never worked right and some Chinese springer that I can’t find any discernible markings on. The front sight went missing and it was held into the stock with tape but I could still make hits with...

What springer did you shoot today?

bustachip, I am pretty new to the HW30, got mine last week and posted. Shot it on Friday with dead wind, I could hit a crumpled pop can with relative ease at 38 paces. Without the recoil it seems to shoot as well as my HW95! 585 fps with 177 super domes.

What springer did you shoot today?

Crowski, beautiful rifle wish I could have found a K98 in .22 when they were common up here in Canada. Also if you are looking to extend the sight radius I have a 34 which I tapped an HW77 sight onto the rail. Its a tight fit but I am happy with it.

    HW/Weihrauch Jaw-dropping HW 35's...

Thank you for starting this thread there are some really beautiful rifles here. Just curious though. I have a fairly rough condition HW35 no rust just old with a poor finish. I think it might be neat to get my rifle chromed. Does the chrome process also chrome the inside of the compression tube...

What springer did you shoot today?

Shot my newest acquisition an HW30 in 177 and I can’t get enough of this rifle. I have an HW95, HW35 and a Diana 34 but for the basement range I much prefer the light weight and soft shooting 30. Had I been able to handle one I am sure I would have owned it years ago. I always thought they had...

    Other Webley Tempest

Nice pistol, I just bought a Hurricane in .22 its not a hard hitter by any means but it is very enjoyable to shoot.

    HW/Weihrauch HW45 Cocking Levers Fail

Wow, thanks for posting, how many pellets would you say have been shot through the pistol for that to happen? Mine is probably 15 years old and I have not had any issues. Although if I had to guess I have probably fired 4000 pellets through mine. Changed the piston seal and spring last year and...

Sheridan A trip down "SHERIDAN RD"

Thanks for posting, I did not realize Sheridan kept the Streak name going as long as they did into the 2010’s. I had a 90’s 397p that required the old seal kit that I just couldn’t get to work so sold the whole works with kit. Several years later a friend gave me his “new model” 392 with the...

    HW/Weihrauch Just restored HW50

Nice work, I didnt know they had the threaded end cap. I guess that explains the HW50s. I have a 1968 HW35 which I bought in the summer. It has the original leather seal and spring and has been well maintained. Velocity is a little lower than what it should be but am getting 680fps with RWS 177...

    old crony

Shooting Chrony has been out of business for a few years now unfortunately. I have an older blue one which is called the Master Beta. Don’t think they could have come up with a better name at all. Still works great!

What pistol did you shoot today

I just got this in the mail. I always wanted one back in the day when they were popular. Its in .22 caliber, accuracy on paper and velocity is nothing to brag about but its a lot of fun to shoot cans in the yard with and its rather quiet. The rear sight is great for dealing with the loopy...

Best looking air rifle you've seen, owned or shot

I always thought my HW95 with Beeman stock was rather pretty until I saw this thread. Thanks for posting everyone its been fun to look through. I always admired a friend’s Steyr PCP rifle with the orange and grey laminate cheek and grip. He had it set up for FT. Quite the rifle, here is my HW95...

N/A Determining Production Date for Daisy Model 25?

Randy, thanks for posting. Thats really neat and glad to hear it still works. Perhaps you should just contact Daisy and see what they have to say. Would love to see a pic showing the whole rifle and hearing how old it is. Good luck!

    Tuning HW30

If you have been lurking on this forum long enough it could be you. Depending on where you need to send it shipping a full rifle may be about the price of some stones and moly paste. If the rifle shoots well but seems rough it could be a fun project for the two of you. Tuning an HW30 is more...

    Other Show your CO2 pistols

Modski66 I had one of these several years ago. It was accurate, fairly quiet and was enjoyable to shoot. Hopefully you get it working properly. The casting was top notch. Be very careful taking it apart it may be best to tear it down in a clear bag. Its been a while since I took a co2 pistol apart.

    Other Show your CO2 pistols

I used to have a few co2 pistols that I shot quite regularly then got out of them. My interest is peaking again in replicas. I picked up this Baikal Makarov a couple years ago. Not because its a great shooter. It’s probably the crummiest air pistol I have ever used. I got it since they are...

What springer did you shoot today?

Decided to bring my Diana 34 TO5 Classic in .22 to work to shoot in the yard over my lunch break. Its lightly tuned at 740 fps with RWS superdomes. I replaced the sights with spare set off an HW77 which required a little fitting and filling with some JB weld. I also spent a lot of time getting...

    HW/Weihrauch Yep! It Happened Again,,,

That is a nice little package indeed. I got into Weihrauch’s years ago with a 50. I sold it at the time to finance a gently used HW95 with a vortex kit though. For some reason at the time I thought I only needed one air rifle to do everything. I recently picked up a used HW35 to fill the void. I...
