Did you by chance push a pellet through the barrel? This could give some indication of a defective barrel with tight or loose spots. To eliminate the loose stock why not try shooting the rifle without the stock on it?

Are you cocking the rifle before pumping ? If not that might help it to seal.

Shooting in the rain today. Had to move my targets , the box is at 30, spinners are at 40 and 60. The rifle in the pic is the HW100 in .22 , also brought out the Rapid .25 and the R9 in .177. I’m shooting from a death grip tripod which I find is a lot more difficult to shoot from than let’s say...

The RX1 is an HW90. The RX2 is the same with a laminate stock. This is only from reading and never owned one personally.

The Taipans have always been on my wish list. But up here, there’s about a ZERO chance of ever getting one. Mainly due to the gun laws. I’ve had to settle with a fleet of HW100’s , if you want to call that settling.

They used to be sold at Krale. They aren’t listed anymore and I haven’t seen them in stock for quite some time. Too bad they aren’t real good quality although pretty expensive once you factor in shipping. I still have a bit of a stash but looks like when I run out I’ll be SOL.

Evol Paradigm .22 The Steve Corcoran stock on these rifles are not only pretty but fit like a worn in glove. I got to say the laminate HW100 is pretty close. I’m a sucker for a thumb hole stock, I find them much easier to stabilize off hand with the straighter grip.
