    Indoor Target Backstop?

Similar...except that I can also shoot from outside -> in to about 30 yds. Card board sandwiches up to .25 & then back it w OSB if you really want to go beyond. I see no point in >.25 for indoor shooting (unless that's all you have) If you're used to shooting archery you'll get a feel for what...

    Pellet Pens

A fellow member very generously sent me a Air Venturi pellet pen. Thanks Rondo! You da man. I'm working on my technique & this product, like sliced bread, holds a lot of promise IMHO. My exhaustive write-up is to follow. I'm sure you're all dying to know of my conclusion. Be patient

    Benefits of shrouded barrels?

I have some guns that have shrouded barrels w no internals which I think are mostly for aesthetics, but most or the others offer some sound moderation. As others have said it can provide a place to thread an actual moderator and I have noticed barrel droopage on long barreled guns w the shroud...

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

My crabby grandpa on my dad's side had a minty Sheridan Blue Streak that hung unused on their paneled basement wall for my entire life. It was probably purchased in the late 50's and like the pool table, strictly off limits to me and my kin. I've had other air guns, but finally purchasing one...

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

It's an observstion not an argument & not sure why people think it's anti-PCP If I were to not be stupid w my money I'd stay entirely out of air guns

New Prototype Stock For the Barra 250z

Very nice. It's got my interest too. It's a great gun but Im not a fan of the factory stock.

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

The PCP God's must look upon you kindlier than me my friend. I have two high-end guns that deadlined in less than 6 months of purchase. The Marauder (not high-end) only needs a new breech seal. Are they repairable as everyone likes to bring up? Of course, but I really don't think that I should...

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

The Beeman collection has been listed on ebay. Definately one man's treasure... Thanks for understanding. Maybe my faith is waffling a bit. I've given my kids PCPs & am pretty sure they go unused. My son bogarted the cheap Barra cowboy bb gun I had sent to my grandaughter while the complete...

    What's your man-o-meter reading today?

I'll probably go to Huma for a replacement but eed to consider any tariffs. The thing was on a new gun & I could seek replacement thru warranty, but not sure if it's really worth the hassle for such a cheap part which is obviously not made in China

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

Yeah, I get that & am a Maurader owner too so understand the costs and benefits. The benefits outdoing the costs w PCPs is obviously higher performance, so there's no argument there. I'm not planning on divesting. But those old guns probably needed fixing once in it's life time while PCPs are...

    What's your man-o-meter reading today?

LOL Nice! Where did you get yours? Mine came w a Crosman 1701. It took a few fills to set it. No judgement brother

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

It's not that I don't have reliable PCPs, but give them 50 years & I'll get back w you on performance and the ability to source parts. For something as stupidly as expensive as a premium air gun costs you may or may not be getting an heirloom. At least w PBs there can be some value...

Pumpers the Toyota Corolla of air guns

I have probably a dozen pumper vintage air guns that just go and go. Always throwing shade on the PCPs. An almost 70 year old wall-hanger can be used as a daily driver & there are vast aftermsrket options for modding if you really want to go there. It'd be nice to have that kind of reliability...

    500$ startup

I'd buy 3 vintage Crosman 1377s & have enough skrilla to mod-out & have $ left over to buy many, many pellets to send. The bonus plan is that pumping firms up moobs & the electrical bill isn't as severe. I did not do that w my first $500 BTW

Introducing myself - asking for advice on a new airgun while I'm at it.

You really can't go wrong w a Marauder as a first gun. Affordable, reputable, and all you really need performance-wise. You won't outgrow it either, so it's a good keeper. I have a 250z and they are excellent guns for the $, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it as a first gun.

It's sad when a friendly competition turns into someone's ego trip. Those types should take up golf
