FX 700mm .22 Leopard Pellet Liner Question

My pellet liner did better up until mrd and 100 yards. I may have been able to send them faster and pick up smaller groups. The gun got a heavy liner and set up for slugs and the mrd is a concession now. There is a liner lottery, it's not a joke. If you find an exceptional one you'll know it.

    Airgun Retailers Spamming

I wouldn't be upset seeing your stuff 😁 20 cal the world. Shoot me a dm if you guys sell a bolt, mags and barrels as a secret menu option to do that to my 25 mrod 1.0 to save a bunch of time 😂. Please.

    Airgun Retailers Spamming

I don't care about gamo or any of their offerings when they're in the process of ruining my crosman nostalgia. Yeah people act like poors and want cheap stuff in a HOBBY. TBF I won't buy budget friendly guns made in Spain either from my powder burner experiences. Crosman spams me about as bad...

    Daisy Cleaning a Daisy Barrel

If you ever get the inclination to seek it out they have coated cleaning rods in 177 for the rimfire and centerfire 17 pb guys. Some drill rod blanks(obscure) might work in a pinch, or a copper ground wire off some romex... At least it's copper.

    Airgun Retailers Spamming

Crosman spams the heck out of me. That's OK, it's all about to be Chinese trash with the gamo merger.

    Daisy Cleaning a Daisy Barrel

Nylon brushes if it's really fouled and felt cleaning pellets you just shoot thru it. Daisy or fx I don't bother putting a rod down the barrel anymore.

    FX Barrel Bands working well.

I believe this is the only reason.

    Optics on your long rifles.

Reliable or repeatable? My arken/dnt zulus is the winner if not my arken ffp standard optics and an element helix. The reliable part is first focal plane for me, take good data and making shots is easy.... Especially with turret markings.

What’s the last gun you’ve hunted with?

As for the dreamline it's just bone stock and tuned to where I was ok with the noise and air waste for the power. The 380mm I have is just past it's efficiency zone. Wheel is max power micro screw is almost maxed out and 150 bar on the reg, factory single plenum. If it's the impact, we have...

Umarex Notos lower the power down

You'd be buying a a factory one or doping the drilled one with welds or tungsten. I would recommend finding a factory one to play with the weight of and retain the original. Minimum spring rate and lowering the regulator would be my first course of action. If it doesn't play nice at the...

Umarex Notos lower the power down

My friends and I have done a little research on how little gun you need for backyard rodent head shots with weak antique guns ends up if you're within 10 feet or so 1.5 fpe can do it with a wadcutter. Then we went in the garage to see how powerful we could get the 150 yard guns 😂

Color help? For the Trivecta of quality magazines!!

I dont mind the look of hardcoat ano just because it tends to stay that way and doesn't usually purple up. I really enjoy the idea of those mags, my dreamline might need one mag one fill capability one day 😁

Tuning FX Impact Mk2/M3 - slower first shot - no reg creep - quasi-scientific analysis

I dont know which variable did it, but my 1st shot being unacceptably low (where poi was a deal breaker) ended when I did dual huma regs and a tungsten hammer weight. Maybe I'm just brute forcing that valve open every time and stopping it with the va, or have taken some ridiculous amounts of...

FX FX M4 low speed in the first shot

As an impact owner myself, welcome to known impact issues. It can be less problematic if you tune it in a specific way.

Umarex Notos lower the power down

Depending on what your crosman 177 was, bring it down to the 4-600 fps range depending on pellet used. (those are the speeds I remember from my crosmans)

Tuxing twin cylinder compressor Tank Fill time

It may just need the reeds or check valves cleaned. Otherwise a rebuild shouldn't be too terrible.

Tuxing twin cylinder compressor Tank Fill time

I've had it a couple years and it's been great. I just put a big canister of molecular sieves in front of the air filter and it's been truly great. Just don't buy the 110v version unless you have a didicated circuit that can handle 30 or preferably 40 amps. I wish I'd gotten the 220v...

Tuxing twin cylinder compressor Tank Fill time

High pressure side orings and Reed valve fouling are typical culprits regardless of the make. This is part of the reason I chose to use the crazy expensive real dive compressor oil in my 4 cyl tuxing(carbon deposits and impurities) , which has also gotten a smidge slower but not enough to...

N/A Can PCP Work For me

I was having bad leaking problems with a crosman c02 that was brand new, leaving it charged for a week after I got it to slow down ended up seating the orings to the point of a non issue (as an example of the thought process behind leaving it charged) Orings will saturate with the compressed...

N/A Can PCP Work For me

A 25 pcp is a whole new ballgame I wouldn't recommend it if hunting isn't the main goal and if said hunting involved lightly built animals exclusively
