If the barrel is the LW non choked poly then it is a 1:17 I believe......amazing barrels! They shoot pellets and slugs very accurately. Mine is also an HMx LRT 22. Congratulations and enjoy shooting it 👍.

I have a Vortex monocular but I really just use my laser rangefinder(a monocular) for scanning and getting a distance, a better purchase in my opinion if you don't already have one.

We have many Coopers hawks around but within the last 3 months a large female Peregrine falcon has moved in and is slowly preying/clearing out the Coopers hawks....she must be waiting till they are feeding. I have seen her eating 2 of them so far, crazy! First Peregrine I have ever seen here....

Gosh....if you can afford it, an Umarex Notos (PCP) with a hand pump. With hand pump, scope, scope rings, pellets and pump....about 500 bucks invested... Notos is very quiet right out of the box. I use one to snipe rats......

Try MANY different diameter slugs (costly) and weight (lenghts) and it should be noticeable which diameter slug your barrel prefers within a few shots then you can slowly tune for optimal accuracy. Order slugs of different antimony properties also.... my RAW likes NSA a tad harder than pure lead...

Like said above....and get a .25 non choked barrel slinging slugs so windy conditions are a bit easier to navigate....
