I tried a heavy slug liner in my 700 mm .22 impact M3 and it didn’t like pellets at all. Thought the AEA 25.4 would do well but not the case. Went back to standard liner

PS, not sure if that’s just how the EVO is set up but initial HP and LP settings seem very high to achieve 800 fps with 13.43 grain pellets. My Epoch .25 settings are HP/ 1800 and LP/ 175 for 960 fps with 33.9 grain pellets.

Thanks! This is very insightful indeed in terms of LPR playing a larger role in the EVO, would this also apply or the EPOCH. Not sure if relevant but just received the high power kit for EPOCH which I have not yet installed. I have an older HP reg I may try to modify as you describe with larger...

Yes, without a doubt. I don’t bother with cheap pellets but I also don’t do plinking.

Seems these AM Ace slugs may be a bit over hyped.

Remembered I had a spare HP reg and it happened to be the newer type. Installed that and so far so good. Back to SD’s of 1.4 :)

Thanks for your input, I've removed and checked both HP and LP regs and o-rings are fine. Can't check set pressures because I can't get enough air into the gun for gauges to move. Tried dry fire to no avail. Guess I need to wait for Skout to respond.

Any thoughts out there as to why my Epoch leaks from regulator when trying to fill? I’ve had a call into Skout Tech Support for days but nothing yet.

IMO much cleaner and more consistent, cleaner, and less damaged skirts compared to JSB’s
