New guy here, just saying hi

Welcome aboard. At least you're being honest about your internet. Many of us will still encourage you to journey deeper down the rabbit hole. 🤪

What did you do airgun related today.

Actually yesterday. Took my .25 Bullshark out and shot umpteen-dozen pellets I cast with my new NOE 250-27 mold. Was hoping the lighter grains would work, but was actually the heaviest (30g) that shot best and wouldn't you know I didn't cast many of those. Accuracy with them isn't nothing to...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

Received my extra magazines for my .25 Bullshark yesterday evening. Quick test, felt good to be able to shot 40 rounds with out stopping to refill magazines, also shots down to my 150bar reg setting. NOE .250-27 pellet mold just arrived. Didn't know these came with additional pins so can do 3...

Need Ideas - Portable Paper Target Stands

A few minutes with a utility knife. Junk into a target stand. Leave out in the weather no problem. Shot it and break it, easily replaced with another piece of junk.

Need Ideas - Portable Paper Target Stands

That Champion target stand looks a lot like the base of a folding chair. I've got a few that weathered and seats tore out of. I deal with some rocky ground also. This picture has given me an idea for repurposing some of my junk, plus people throw them out all the time.

Fed-Ex lost another one! Just in case someone might see it

OMG. Sorry to hear this. That's a beautiful gun, really hope it gets found. I'd be sick over it and would probably have serious difficulty keeping a civil tongue with the call center run around. Have a lost barrel floating around somewhere where. Disappeared immediately after USPS picked it up a...

    Does your head spin?

Definitely research. You mentioned shooting in neighborhood backyard. Got consider yard size, distance from neighbors, acceptable noise level, local shooting ordinance restrictions. Lot's to think about beyond the gun. I'm blessed with country life so don't have any of that to deal with myself...

    Postal Service Woes, Lost Barrel

IMHO I believe companies have become to reliant on computers and automation. Sure it's labor saving when dealing with mass volumes of things, but it enables people to not think for themselves. Basically if the computer says then it has to be true. Have an issue with a pharmacy limiting quaintly...

    Postal Service Woes, Lost Barrel

Update: Fox Air Power reached out to me today, via email. Since no progress has been made with USPS in finding the lost barrel, they are going to get another one. No telling how long it will take to get it from AEA though. Still got to hand it to Fox Air for doing everything possible to stand...

Two Avenge-X rifles, five months, and a part-time job I’m paying for...

I've got to say Fox Air Power has stood behind their 1yr warranty with every issue I've had with my Challenger Elite. Two regulators, a hammer spring, and valve pin within the first 6 months. Also replacing barrel which I finally scoped one month out of warranty and discovered was horrible...

    AEA First Big bore

I've got a Challenger Elite .457. Like the gun, had over a year. Waiting on a replacement barrel, as I got a crappy one. That only bad thing I can say about it, besides it's heavy. Pretty much any Chinese gun I'd recommend bore scoping the barrel out of the box. Mass production and QC doesn't go...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

Also received a NOE mold today, already have 3 of these in 2 cavity (one has been modified). This one will be put away for future need. Got a .250 pellet mold coming also, separate order. Would have bought more, just caught me at a bad time dealing with engine repairs on wife's car.

Robert Lane closing shop for indefinate period

Screw I mentioned would go inside center of top adjustment screw. Mine is screwed in all the way then backed out 2 1/2 turns. If wasn't included then don't worry about it. Here's installation link. https://huma-air.com/app/uploads/2024/01/installation-guide-Artemis-P15-Diana-Skyhawk.pdf

What are your thoughts on lead exposure?

Started casting after getting a big bore last year. Had my doctor do a base line test, then well have one done annually. They're already drawing blood anyway so one more test isn't going out of the way. More of a better safe than sorry thing really. Doctor is probably more concerned than I am...

Three magazines for my .25 Stoeger Bullshark. That'll give me 5 (40 shots), so can fill the mag's and gun at same time.

N/A First PCP - need advice (Notos vs Stoeger Scout)

This is how an unmoderated Stoeger Bullshark .25 cal sounds at 20yds to a little camcorder. Personally don't think it sounds like this behind the gun. But maybe what someone else would be hearing down range. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Excuse the amateurish video, first timer.

What did you do airgun related today.

Took my Bullshark .25 to the range and made a short video of shooting peachs. These are off wild peach trees in my yard and still green. I need to find the right pellets for the gun but repairs to wife's car comes first. First video I've made so excuse an amateur.

    Air hose inanity

I've stuck with the GX hoses. I have 5 now and plenty of o-rings. Also have 2 of the Tuxing braided hoses off Amazon, simply for the length. Took a few returns to get one's that didn't leak under the braid. Also had one rupture. But 2 I have now have lasted nearly a year, one is on my filter...
