The cs4 models will sometimes squeak, but with what sounds like metal on metal. It is not, it's the crankcase vent. Here is a short video showing this.

Yep, takes 1800 to 2K PSI before that will let pressure go to the gun. It's one of the stand out features of that filter. You will also need to release pressure from the brass valve at the top to let air out of the line.

It would have to be consistently updated. Even the cs4 posted here is an old model and not like the current production. I'm sure other compressors will change as well as time goes by.
