Sheridan Steroid Pumpers - Sheridan Benjamin Crosman

Yeah, the spring looks kinda mashed. But looks like you have some kind of sear engagement device? Maybe has something to do with that.

Is FFP or SFP More Frequent? — At what Magnification Range?

When did we first learn of FFP scopes? Ten years ago? 12? Before that, most airgun scopes were 1" tube, SFP, implicit MOA, and didn't have mil hashmarks or christmas tree reticles. And somehow we still hit stuff we aimed at. Fairly often, anyway, and misses weren't the fault of the scope...

N/A What did you name your airgun

"The Silent Killer". Around 1995, my 1st pcp was the BSA Super 10, set up by Allen Zasadny including a crazy effective moderator. And crazy accurate.

Airgun Technologies The Future of Springers – Are We Still in the Game?

Consider the pumper, benjamin, sheridan, crosman pumpups, now diana, dragonfly, etc. Really have no place in modern airgunworld. Lots of effort to shoot. Lower power than most pcp and springers. No hi-tech look. Not particularly accurate. Hard to scope. Yet, have maintained a small...

    Recommended O Ring Kit

You'll likely need to learn to speak metric too, as lots of orings these days are metric.

    Benjamin 2600 re-seal

Essentially the same design as the rifle version, scaled down to pistol. This may help; You don't really need hi durometer orings for static co2 applications, softer orings usually work fine.

The best All around Air rifle scope

I wonder how we were ever able to get by, and hit what we aimed at, with a 1", SFP, 2-7x32 scope? I've been cycling through several modern, powerful scopes recently, FFP, 50mm bell, illuminated, 34mm tube, etc., and realized that I actually do just fine with an old Simmons Pro-Air 3-12. At...

    cheap scope vs expensive

Scope makers usually mention a couple of things. First, glass, i.e., distortion from the lenses themselves. As an exaggerated example, remember how a miniscule defect in the mirrors caused major problems for the Hubble telescope, distorting our view of outer space? Same with scopes, and...

Good compact scope for hft target shooting and huntting

Nobody likes the Hawke Airmax Compacts? I have other Hawke scopes, not the compacts though, and very happy with them for HFT or hunting. Frankly, I'm a bit surprised nobody else has mentioned the compacts. Price maybe?

    Other Sad stats for springers

Oh, and I was going to say that on my channel, less than 10% of viewers are under 35 years old. YouTube changed the stats a while back to where a view doesn't count as a view unless it is viewed most (or all?) the way through the video. In other words, if someone watches the first minute or...

    Other Sad stats for springers

Demographics and springers, or airguns in general. I wonder what the age statistics of viewership/participation are here on this site?

Here we go again! SHOT SHOW 2025

My Shot Show playlist so far; Oh, and I didn't see it addressed here, but the reason you may need a 7k psi compressor from AEA is in the event you buy one of their newer guns that fills to 7k psi. I think they will be color coding the tanks so you don't get mixed up and overfill something...

Umarex AirJavelin Pro - SHOT Show 2022 - Airgun Advisor video review

my contribution to the Shot Show news; https://mailchi.mp/ee3797ef1444/industry-day-at-the-range-shoot-something-different?e=45f189b1e3 Air shotgun looks interesting, little brother to the Seneca Wing Shot? The .30 cal Gauntlet (finally!). Turns out I'm isolating due to family testing + for...

    SHOT SHOW 2022

I just cancelled. Exhibitors are pulling out or sending a skeleton crew or even no crew at all, just an exhibit. From what I can gather, exhibitors would like to cancel but NSSF (who puts on the show) insists that it go on. Most have too much invested to pull out altogether. Masks are...

    PCP Long Term Storage?

Agree with nervoustrig, seal quality and hardness are hugely important. When pcp’s were first becoming widely available, the common wisdom was to store longer-term at about 1/2 pressure. Of course, seals weren’t as good then as they are now. But might be an option for you.
