I forgot one thing. For the classic, I have to take out the gun out of the chassis to adjust the hammer. Is there a way to access the hammer adjuster without taking out the chassis? Thanks

My P15 does not have an air bleed screw. I bleed the air from the cylinder by inserting a little piece I made in place of the hammer spring. Then I just turn the hammer spring adjuster in until I crack the valve and the air drains.

Very understandable! Some higher end PCP's have easy, just a hammer spring adjustment needed, BRK has a transfer port adjuster that is a dial. All can be a tune it and leave it be shooter 👍. Take your time before deciding, research and research more to leave all doubt behind.

The hammer spring should be adjusted to just open the valve, plus a half turn. The hammer spring has very little effect on the velocity. Velocity is adjusted by reg pressure. In your case, the power is pre-set, and you can change velocity with ammo weight only.

I’m probably about 85 clicks in on the hammer spring at 100bar. If going up on plenum pressure would require a heavier hammer spring adjustment wouldn’t it defeat the purpose. I’m thinking that the lowest pressure to get the desired velocity would be the best option, am I wrong?
