RTI are now making their own barrels, the brass transfer port is easier to machine. Even the Mora's have these hybrid barrels. Fortunately, I don't need the latest bean counters barrel offering.

Something I still use and treasure. Present from the wife years ago.

RTI sent me some of the M7 grub screws, they were steel. Easy to drill out, file, manipulate etc. Got a selection of transfer ports from 1.6 mm to 3 mm. I also have a brass M7 TP, delivered will my P1. So RTI use brass and steel. Interesting testing, 😉. Lately I'm mainly using a 3 mm TP. .177...

My original 9 year old cricket has had 1 replacement o ring. Never lets me down. Would I sell for current market value, not a chance. 🙂 The cricket and it's reliability, accuracy etc has probably saved me 1000s of bucks in experimental purchases.

2025 has probably been my most negative shooting related year to date. Mainly health and mobility issues, getting old sucs. I'm getting more active, still time to achieve a few a few targets, complete something, anything.😉😁. Just hopefully this year

Jsb and H&N do different head sizes in .22. Best option is to look at the manufacturer website.

Tip, it's not long range precision until you have tested. Then tested again and again.

The blue standard barrels were CZ, nothing to lose. Plenty of folk still look for the cz barrel. My two are excellent with pellets.

Moved my 2 veyrons on. The 3 optisan vipers I have are going nowhere. Love the scopes, work well for me.

I often swap between my 24 and 20 inch RTI barrels. No problem so far. So long as I fit the correct shroud end cap. 😉
