    Which airgun am I ???

Try to help me figure out which airgun I'm looking for. List of descriptive items: 1-short carbine, no longer than 36 inches 2-side lever cocking a must 3-.22 caliber 4-externally adjustable regulator 5-at least a 10 shot magazine 6-equipped with factory shroud and / or threaded for moderator...

Lets see those pistols turned carbine!!!

I tried putting a longer barrel on my P17 years back. I found out that if you went over a certain length with the barrel it would hit the lower corner of the pistol grip when you tried to cock it. Might I ask how do you cock yours without it hitting? Cool setup :) Thx Ray

    Multi-pump hunting

Sorry for such a late reply. I got the valve in the legacy 1000 tube and ended up with the holes in the correct place. Just waiting now for a used disco trigger assembly to arrive. More to come later :) Thx Ray

what's your 2025 deer hunting setup?

AEA .457 Challenger using 260gr Mr. HP slugs. It went maybe 25 yards and piled up. I'm really impressed with this airgun. Looking forward to this years season. Thx Ray

Has Anybody Tested Out The New Crosman Pellets Yet?

I ran across this thread a while back and read it with high hopes that the newer Spanish made "crosman" pellets wouldn't be that bad. Well I am here to say that so far I am shocked. I bought a tin of the .22 caliber at the local WM last weekend. I shot them for the first time last night before...

Is this level of Accuracy Okay for hunting?

Been more than a few replies here but has anyone thought to ask "what size is that circle?" With your power level you can get away with less than perfect shot placement. However, with squirrels I would try to keep all my shots within an inch at whatever range I'm shooting at.

    Other Light Weight Slugs

If your big bore is tuned for heavy slugs and you shoot lighter slugs you will get way fewer shots with the lighter slugs. Your mind wants to think the opposite. Lighter slugs use less power / air to get them up to a higher FPS. But with big bores, those heavy slugs take longer to get up to...

AEA My AEA Bigbore Challenger Bullpup Chassis

I have the .457 Challenger Big Bore Rifle and it's a beast to lug around in the woods. Do you have any plans to try for a lighter stock to fit the rifle versions in the future? And if you printed that larger section in one piece you must have built an awesome 3D printer, which in itself would be...

New squirrel feeder = busy backyard

Man that's an awesome little hunt you had there. Feeder looks like it does the job as well. Ray

New squirrel feeder = busy backyard

Not sure where you live so pardon my post. Down here in Mississippi the crows are pretty smart and you usually don't get a chance to shoot at the same one twice. And if you shoot one, the rest will fly off and stay out of gun range for a W-H-I-L-E !!! If you got 4 in one sitting consider...

    Crosman Mac daddy on co2...

Wow, I'm always amazed at your back yard shooting range. Each time you show a picture of it, two things comes to mind. 1-it's totally awesome and 2- I bet its a bear to keep mowed and trimmed!! Thx Ray

    N/A Air Max

Still have my PP700 with the ugly green handle, lol. Always been a good plinker. Holds air fine. Nice pistol for the price. Kinda loud when tuned up for more power.

    Umarex Underrated?

I've got the AEA .457 challenger rifle, but it is built like a russian tank and weighs almost as much. It's for shooting from a stand or shooting house. Wouldn't want to lug it around the woods long trying to stalk. That is the main reason I gave up on trying to find airbolt arrows to use with...

    Umarex Underrated?

Okay, so regulated is just for testing and practice? Your saying the airsaber has enough shots to hunt with? Umarex says 20 to 30 shots per fill so 2 shots would be plenty with just 1 being needed if placement is correct. Do you consider whitetail deer "medium game"? Not really worried about...

    Umarex Underrated?

Not to offend the OP but I'm glad he posted this. I've been seriously thinking about an airsaber to extend my "AIR" hunting season. I finally broke down and bought an AEA Challenger .457 last fall. Killed a nice 7 point with it so I'm hooked for sure. I don't understand how you could use a...

    Other Airgun for Squirrel?

Don't think I've seen it in this thread yet, but before you trying "dispatching" any squirrels you should check your state game laws. Shooting an animal out of season can cost you a $$$ fine. And as it was said earlier, the front yard is a bad place to shoot. You have to contend with neighbors...

CS4 arrived, my first pcp compressor.

Do yourself a big favor and search this forum for all the start up tips you should do before using your compressor for the first time. There are tons of them, from how to fill the water tank and radiator, adding led lights, hour meters, etc..... I've had mine almost 2 years and it's been working...
