Its a huge time savings at the range for me with limited range time. I want to shoot a bunch not listen to an annoying compressor fill. Top off from tanks like 3-4 seconds. If you can shoot at home and every(or any) day its not something i would mess with.

These portable compressors have all but eliminated the need for tanks for me. The only time I use a tank now is for tethering. But then again, I do all my shooting at home and I can set my CS3 up right on my shooting bench. I can fill mags while the gun is recharging.
