In my younger days,I always wanted a Crow Magnum or the Theoben Eliminator

I've had several Eliminator/CM rifles and never found them to be particularly hard to cock or shoot. They were all full power. I am now 69 years young and still enjoy my .22 Eliminator, .20 RX2, .22 Scirocco and .22 Crusader. Unfortunately, I am going to have to thin several of my airgun...

    Buying used rifles

Of the over 100 air guns that I have owned in the past 30 year, only 3of them were new. The rest were purchased from individuals from classified ad's. I always have a phone conversation with the seller before buying. I've not had a bad purchase to date.

    Beeman Crow magnum .20 inbound

The cocking shoe was most likely damaged by someone trying to cock the gun out of the stock. The seal tells me it is an early MK, and the lube was probably Moly. That is the only lube that you should use on seals of those guns. Later MK's used easily replaced O rings and didn't suffer from the...

Other CZ Slavia 634 shot cycle and trigger

I have worked on a few of these guns. It's pretty easy to smooth out the shot cycle with a proper guide, lubes and deburring. The ones that I have experience were very accurate. It's hard to do much with the trigger, but polishing the right areas helps. It's not worth trying to hot rod them...

Spring piston rifle scope not holding zero

If I read correctly, you shimmed the rear of the scope? If so, this is most likely the culprit. In the short tube area of a Bug, it doesn't take much to stress the tube and reticle.

    Henry Ford Crosman Repair

Sorry for your experience. I do all my own repairs, and I can say that the 600 is a very difficult one to get right. There are several parts that are just not available anymore.

    Benjamin Benjamin 132 found...ammo?

With that power plant the lighter pellets will give a decent velocity. I use Crosman premier HP's in most of my pistols.

    Comfortably Retired vs Working Man

Since I retired, I spent the most I ever have on an any gun (air or PB). I have bought around 100 air guns in the years before retirement. Did I need this one, no. Did I want it...heck yes! Will I ever shoot it, I did mount a scope and sight it in. An old Theoben Scirocco in mint condition...
