I'm continually impressed by my Taipans. I have the Taipan Vetran Long which I shot this target with today. Also have the Taipan Vetran 2 tactical 700m Also in 25 caliber. Just had to share this group with AA 25.4 grain pellets going 904 fps. 5 shots at 87 yards.

Shoot down until your velocity drops off. Look at your pressure gauge in the rifle That's where the regulator is set. This works regardless of where your hammer spring is set

I haven't played with my regulator on either of my Taipans. For pellets I don't think there's any problem just using the hammer spring for pellets. On my Taipan tactical 2 700mm which I bought used. It had the stronger hammer spring installed and with the 700mm barrel. Just for more fps slugs...
