Did you check the foster fill fitting? It has a check valve in it that sometimes goes South.

Surprisingly, the Veyron is pretty decent for an inexpensive scope. It works, but at the bottom end of that price spectrum. My only criticism is that the turrets and kind of hard to manipulate, but it's still workable.

Can you divulge the measurement tolerance for your instruments?? Is it plus or minus 10 percent, 5 percent or what? By what standards are these instruments calibrated? Is accuracy affected by temperature, barometric pressure, or any other external influence?

That doesn't look like an HW50 to me. Because of the absence of open sights and the presence of an ersatz muzzle brake, it looks like a Beeman R series.

I have a Helos and a Heras. Both good. The Heras offers SFP and FFP. I prefer SFP.

Those big scopes are affected thermally as well. My friend and I proved that with our Sightron S3 10-50 scopes shooting FT in Florida. POI changed from cool mornings to hot days.

Optisan CP scopes are pretty good too. Short, light and available in SFP or FFP. Trenier Airguns has them in stock.

I usually doesn't unless the configuration of the gun, like the TX200 makes the use of a compact scope a must. The TXs loading port would be covered with a normally long scope making loading difficult. A compact scope doesn't block it.
