Daystate Huntsman revere .177 18fpe reg. pressure ?

Not sure. I always used a chronograph when adjusting mine. Shoot over chronograph to get speed, then adjust with a turn and shoot again. I always stopped when velocity peaked. Rifle usually arrives with the screw already set to max velocity. If you turn it in and don't see a rise in velocity...

    Hand pump help

Cheap pumps will last longer than the expensive Hill versions. My Hill rusted in no time vs my China pump that shows no signs of rust no matter how much condensation builds up in it. Also easier to maintain than the Hill. I don't mind exercise so I stick with the hand pump.

Daystate Huntsman revere .177 18fpe reg. pressure ?

You are not adjusting the hammer spring but the striker screw. It is more like a Benjamin Marauder where you shorten or lengthen the striker distance with the small screw in the hammer. You have to cock the gun and turn the hammer till you see the locking allen screw from the bottom. Loosen that...

    Daystar Hunts!

Have noticed that the Turkish guns come a little over sprung and benefit from some tuning.

    Daystar Hunts!

Story time grab a beer it’s a long one

You probably could have cocked the gun and taken the hammer spring pressure off the valve, closing it enough to let you hand pump it up. For guns with no free space in the hammer to valve relationship, cocking them takes the pressure off letting the valve close enough to seal.

N/A Lightweight pcp for squirrel hunting

My go to squirrel getter is an old RTI Prophet 1 .22 compact. Short and light enough for getting around easy. Plenty of gas on tap to shoot 16 or 18 gr pellets. Taipan standard or compact is another good choice. Daystate Revere is nice. I have a .177 but wish I had picked up a .22 to keep all...

    Scope for Beeman R9

How far do you plan to shoot and what size targets? I keep my .22 R9 as a close range shooter and use a Leupold 4x rimfire scope.

    Pellet Pens

Plus you have to load the pellet pen first and that may be just as difficult as loading the mag or breech with fingers.

    newbie needing purchase help

You wanting to do $300 total, scope and all or just $300 for a rifle? If you want something PCP style, you will need to allow money for a means to fill the gun with air. A spring fired gun may have to be pretty potent to take down a crow. The more powerful a spring gun gets, the harder it is to...

    1st hunt 2025

Missouri starts up in May but the summer is too dang hot and humid to be out in the woods with mosquitos and ticks. So far, the end of August is shaping up to be a nice transition into fall with decent cooler temps. I am looking forward to it.

Getting my PC game nerd on and I found this...

There is a ball bearing gun on Metro that you have to pump up to keep the pressure at leathal velocity. It is also really quiet so as not to alert others.
