I love the Impact in 25 cal.. I sold a M2 that I added the PP & Block to. Great shooter. I am going to buy a M3 if I can find one with 600 barrel for slugs.

Just curious, what are you trying to shoot at 200 FPE , unless it is a state requirement? Depending on the animal, a larger slug even at a slower speed delivers the forces needed to make a humane kill. The VP delivers in its stock form 198 FPE with a 125 gr slug at 845 (from the FX website)...

I have a MKII and MKIII. They require some attention, but I am addicted....my preferred caliber for slugs for target and fun is 25 cal. ZEN or Hybrids. The MKIII is highly tuned for 357 and has never had a leak since I replaced the FX First Stage regulator with a Huma M3 First Stage unit.

I added an ARCA adapter that mounts under the trigger guard and use a Two Vets 55 Ball Head mounted to a Recon Tripod or a rail we have mounted in our blind. Controls the weight now that the geometry of the mount has changed.

I tend to agree that the trigger should have adjustments for pull and break. But with some practice you can get used to its quirks. I have a 452 and love it for hunting feral hogs and critters.

I had 2 25 cal Wildcats a while back. Great Guns. But I have only Impacts now. But will probably start looking for a used WC MKIII bottle version in 25 cal. for spring.

I just got a Hatsan Velox 22. So far, its been a lot of fun. Easy to handle and accurate. Just be ready to refill after every full mag. Great price for a semiauto that really cycles well.
