Had my epoch for two years now and no air leaks (skout guns are excellent). The point of plugging up the breach is to find some more consistent standard deviation for optimal performance. The air relief from the breach is said by skout as a safety feature for blocked breaches.

Be great if the hp& LP regs had numbered/click adjustment, would make experimenting and returning to original settings a lot easier. Plus smooth over cap so you feel that you haven't messed it when carrying or supporting gun in hand.

10-15 pretty much. Using all sorts of different chrono's borrowed from others. JSB heavy 10.34 4.52 being the most accurate and consistent. 7/8mm groups at 26m so far. Shame the barrel only shoots soft lead pellets so the choice is more limited. Looking for any valve or reg upgrades that might...

Can I jump in here and ask if any skout epoch owner knows how to get the standard deviation down on a sub 12? UK restricted rifles have a LP reg that does nothing. Dwell set on 12 works best but sd is to high for constant accuracy. Great gun though, not ready to buy anything else yet.

Thanks for the update good to know. I got very simler results with barrel polishing and jsb heavys. I'm just trying to find that elusive 250 card from this gun (I should have got an anschutz 9015). Wished skout spent a bit more time on the sub12 testing then it would be a epic/epoch gun.

Just wondering how you are getting on accuracy wish no with the LW barrel?

Why have I got to sit here and resizing hundreds of pellets one by one! Is there an automated resizer? Or why the big question is: why can't the gun manufacturers make the transfer port into a sizer??? Just after that little perfection from mediocre to nailing it.
