FX Well, I have gone and done it my first PCP....

If you want an easy way to tune, check out Shooting with Phil on YouTube. His stuff really works. If not, there are MANY videos on how to tune. I, also, have a .22 Maverick Compact. Terrific, accurate gun! Great choice for a first pcp!!

    What a BREECH!

My PCP is for backyard pesting, so semi-auto is preferable to any other configuration. I don't think I've ever needed more than one follow-up shot, but it's a handy thing to have available when in a genocidal rage against all backyard rodents. I've never had an issue with jamming or misfires...

FX Thank the Lord I didn’t sell it!

That's awesome! One of my first PCP's was a used FX T12 Field Target model in .22 and it had a pressure gauge under the stock. Great shooter, barrel was so consistent.

    new guy here,optics question

First , Welcome to the best A G N . i would suggest any of the Athlon line , and start with a middle of the pact scope in SFP (second focal plane ) the retical stays the same size and so makes it easier to learn . Plus you said 30 to 50 or so yards so you do not need a FFP scope Again...

Skout Everything Skout EVO and Epoch

That is an ISSUE ..... It is a Known issue with polyurethane 0-rings that they can and will take a set ( As in if forced to take a slightly different shape they lack the shape memory ) when compared to Viton, Buna o-rings we typically see in PCP air guns. So WHY are they using Poly o-rings ...

    N/A A PCP Day

First thing this morning I had three spots Nitrogen frozen on my head (one of which gave me a brain freeze without the ice cream!) and two biopsies taken... So I decided no yard work today, it was all about my PCPs.... First up was my Revere in .22 Cal. I consider myself anymore a wobbly...

N/A First PCP - FX Impact M4 or Skout EVO?

Why would your first pcp be an 2k gun? Should start off with like a marauder, avenger, notos/zelo, etc. A 2k gun shouldn't be someone's first pcp.

Newbie here, looking at my first PCP

Hey everyone - another newbie here, or at least looking to be a newbie into the PCP world. I've owned some pumps in the past (whatever could be had at Walmart or Sears). Those were mainly just for plinking. We have a few chickens (pets really - my kids gave them names like "Hennifer Lopez")...

What pistol did you shoot today

Going through this forum, had to take break from reading so I jumped to the end. Have a Hatsan model 25 super charger in .22 caliber. Sit down at the bench at the range, toss a can down towards the backer, and start shooting at the can and knocking it down the range. Its a guaranteed tin can...

    New guy!

I look at this same as my powder burner collection - rifle + caliber combination is "fit for purpose". I like having the right tools. I settled on the list after months of research and reading, and I'm sure the list will evolve as I continue this rabbit hold trek.
