It seems you will need the warranty and work on it often, I would choose another pcp as your first. This is only what I have seen as common place in most Skout threads.

I would say it’s a complete 100 percent non factor in deciding to purchase. I don’t think the internals are going to wear out when referring to the main metal hardware. Orings of course are a different story as with any pcp. It will eventually leak of course. If it were me I’d certainly...

What kind of ranges were you successful at? I have been considering the maverick as a first pcp. I have a 10 year old son who I am sure will want to shoot it. How old is your son and is the maverick (as a bull pup) pretty well balanced for a younger kid to shoot?

Couldn't be happier with the Aveng-X. Sure wish I hadn't waisted time and money on my first rifle, a Gamo barrel cocker. This PCP is much more accurate and usable.
