N/A I think we need a new caliber among .25 and .30 for hunting and Target shooting

6.5mm (0.264). Since I got my first 6.5X55, I've loved that cal...which is why I went with .25cal. I wonder if PCP power levels would support faster twist rates...like 1:10...

Crosman First Time Trying 10m Shooting

I lost track of shots, so I cant figure out the score. I kept going until I started getting wild hits. Crossman 1377, Probably got fatigued with pumping and lost focus and resulted in a few wild hits. Overall happy, 2 hands, 10m. Pcp seems nice, more target focus less work.

N/A Looking for first 10m pistol

Hi everyone, looking to get into 10m and looking for my first pistol I was originally going to try the V10 but it seems the 46m is better. For the price of the 46m is there anything else I should be looking at? I don’t mind pcp as my first pistol, but I’m my head once I go pcp I’m going to go...

    Springer vs. PCP

I have both types and my first pcp was a Benjamin Maximus. Not fast or fancy but accurate, lightweight and I can pump up to full pressure easily with a hand pump. It lives in my truck most of the time. Rick H.

    N/A 1k budget. First PCP

...and pick up a bargain on the PCP of your choice here on the classifieds. At your stated budget, many fine used PCPs have come up for sale of late. Brand new…? Good luck, seems like you are already on an irrevocable path. Love the fact that you already have a HPA compressor awaiting its first...

Other Just how much must I pay for "Accuracy" in a PCP gun?

Let me first set the table... I've been a long-time outdoorsman with a 23 yr military career behind me and have been a "powder gun" shooter for most of my life. In "powder guns," I can pull one out of the box, give them a good cleaning, set up the gun(s), site in, and then count on them to HIT...

does anybody remember the old old Yellow forum?not for the faint of heart""

I lurked at just about every forum since the internet became a thing but never joined one until AGN started, I think. I might have joined GTA first, don't remember. Once I got really active with pcp, I needed the active back and forth of the forums though. Yeah, there were a lot of...

    What was your first PCP?

My first was the FD-PCP. The $100 tinkerer's dream from FDAR. I still have one. The next was a Disco then came the swan dive into the rabbit hole.

    Quietest, and most accurate

I bought two PCP failures before I finally dug way down in my wallet and bought a Crown. Then I was finally satisfied. With help here at AGN he shouldn't have that problem. 👍

    Springer vs. PCP

An excellent springer (I own 2 of them) is the HW30S. My son and daughter learned to shoot with these rifles at the age of 6 and 7. This was actually my first air rifle I bought back in the early 80's. They are fun - for parent and kid - and (again) will last you a lifetime. You can't say that...

    Umarex Completed my Umarex Notos!

My first PCP was a Notos, which I purchased in December of last year. Before even firing it, I added a Huben regulator, Tuxing bottle, Buck Rail lower, etc. It gets addicting. It led to me purchasing a Skout Evo and Leshiy 2. Although it's the least expensive of the 3 PCP that I own, it's still...

    What a BREECH!

Mine jammed at first, it was just over gassed. Magazines are what I would focus on today..... But also semi auto is cool for the first tin of pellets and then makes no difference to me when the novelty is gone.

What did you do airgun related today.

...pellet catcher out of a storage bin and two bags of mulch. My first group of 10 with my BSA R10, that I bought from a member here, were pretty tight at 25 yards, shooting with a bipod on an outdoor table. Time to go to the range for more challenging distances. This is my first PCP. Kinda...

Should we write our own product reviews?

I think a new catagory with actual member reviews would be a great idea. I myself fell into my first pcp the avenger .25 thinking it was the best ever from reviews. At first i was impressed with the avenger. But i did not know the capabilities of a better airgun. Real honest reviews would be...

    Air gun shops

I live just north of Denver CO and the only airgun shop I know of in CO is Airgun Outdoors in Parker CO about 50 miles away. Small shop but has many pcp Airgun options. Good people and coffee and donuts first Saturday of the month.

    What was your first PCP?

Bought my first PCP in Dec 25. It is the .25 cal Maverick in my Avatar, I love the accuracy and power it has. I have bought a M3 and a M4 since, these guns shoot amazing.
