AirMaks Arms Katran Compact in .22 - oh Yeah!

...Finally, between work, storms, neighbors, and mosquitoes ... just zeroed in with CPHPs. Oh my, this thing is on par if not better than my first pcp, Taipan Veteran 1 Compact in .22. Honestly, I passed really early on when looking at the Katran for my first PCP - odd looking tadpole thing...

Do you stand up , or lay down

At first I thought that we were talking about peeing.... Standing in a safe, butt-down, with full or partial air for PCP. I only have one pumper, and it stands up, butt-down with a single pump left in it. No gots any Springers, so no help there at all. mike

    N/A What gun amazed you?

What gun amazed you? My first Air Rifle that I purchased, Diana 54 .177. Amazed at it's accuracy and ability to obtain higher scores than PCP shooters at USABR matches.

    Other Advice on first pcp

I'm looking to get my first pcp. This gun will be solely for pest control. 35 yards max rabbits and chipmunks. I want a PCP because I am hesitant to mount my sightmark wraith nightvision scope on my break barrel. I'm leaning towards a umarex notos. For the price are there any other guns I should...

First week of owning a Maverick 30.

Does it ever get old? Moving up from a springer to PCP was the best thing I ever did. In 7 days I have taken 28 of these tree rats. My son has enjoyed it, I have enjoyed it. Thanks to all the guys here on AGN for pointing me in the right direction.

First PCP- Daystate Huntsman .177 in 1998. Got my first non-toy Sheridan 5mm in 1968 Got my first ‘adult’ airgun Feinwerkbau break barrel in 1979. It’s been quite a ride and number of PCP’s since then! Life long hobby. PS I don’t count Daisy BB, Crosman 760…

AirMaks Arms Krait owners speak up

Mine got shipped today, should have on Monday. Ordered in .22 but turned out it is out of stock already, Talon called back and offered .25 instead, and I agreed. Wanted to try .25 at some point anyways. That will be my first PCP in this price range (over 1K). Hope not the last ;)

N/A Marauder vs HM 1000x First PCP

Hello to all, I am new to the PCP world and have already acquired a compressor. For the last three months I have been shooting a GAMO swarm viper out to about 50 yards. I had no idea how much I would enjoy this sport! I can shoot PB on my property but being able to sit inside next to my wife...

    New Need Help Choosing Rifle

I started out with a break barrel and was ok at 30 yards but, then I saw a pcp for the first time and at that point I gave the break barrel to my brother in-law and bought a regulated pcp, better accuracy and longer ranges. Most 25 cal get 24 shots or more with .22...

    Retired members here?

I bought my first pcp in 2020 after retiring in November 2019. I can shoot in my yard so it was a good additional hobby to pick up.

    Quietest, and most accurate

As someone who bought a springer for their first "high-end" air rifle, I would definitely recommend going with a PCP instead. There were several better performing options I could have gotten for the same amount of money, even with a pump included in the total.

    N/A Dry fire/ purging first??

Is it ok to dry fire or as some call it, purge your PCP before starting to shoot for accuracy? Is ok for some guns and not others?

    First Gun, Thoughts?

...put out some impressive fpe numbers with more than decent accuracy so really what more do you want. I think you made a good choice for your first pcp, and when you decide to upgrade next month the AvengeX will hold its value pretty well. And make no mistake, few people stop at their first...
