New to the air rifle world and looking for the quietest, best PCP rifle for the money with an emphasis on quiet. Will be used on 4 acres for target shooting and small game very rarely. I come from the precision rifle match shooting world (10 years ago) so I understand centerfire rifles and...

Air Venturi New PCP, Random Parts?

Hello All, I just received my Air Venturi Avenger 25 Bullpup 2. I'm planning a new thread about first impressions, unboxing, etc. but I first had a quick thought/question. I'm about as new to this as it gets. My young days I plinked the 22 a bit but this is an exciting new thing for...

N/A Best *Obsolete* or *Discontinued* PCP Rifle?

My first PCP was a Career 707 'Western' carbine w/ mod. It had a rare/special receiver design which I was told was one of it's kind. The magazine was very fussy on pellets but Eun Jin domed pellets worked just fine. The gun never leaked or gave me a problem in the 10 plus years I owned it...

Introducing myself - asking for advice on a new airgun while I'm at it.

Your wants/requisites are basic enough that even many econo-PCPs can fulfill them; even something like this- https://pintydevices.com/products/pcp-pellet-gun-air-rifle-high-power-airgun-for-hunting Having been an airgunner for seventy years myself, I've deeply explored somewhere between...

    RAW Rapid HM1000x first impressions...

I just received a RAW HM1000x (.22 caliber, tactical stock) and thought I'd share my first impressions this PCP in case someone else is considering one. Overall it feels great, solid in the hand with good balance just forward of the trigger. Weight (scoped) is reasonable - heavy enough to be...

Hello All! New to the PCP world here.

As the title stated, I am fairly new to the world of owning a PCP. Been scrolling through the forums for a little bit when I first got my Umarex Notos late last year. I can fully say that I am addicted as I recently purchased another PCP the Dynamic Compact in .22 cal. This is also my first big...

    I got lucky

I have acquired quite a few springers, and only early this year got my first SSP rifle after having 3 pistols. I am resisting the PCP route, because of all the accessory equipment needed, the expense and finally a place to put more guns and a compressor.

    What was your first PCP?

I went all in on a FX Bobcat for my first PCP and never regretted it, it was a .25 with unbelievable accuracy and a power wheel. I shot a banana spider out its web from 70 yards, left his 8 legs spread accross his web.:D

Pyramid Air 10 for $10, and the PCP 24 Hr Leak service?

...getting it strait from the manufacturer? I will still get the Compressor from PA. I was just curious on your thoughts. Maybe also any thoughts on the Talon SS as a first PCP? I like the single shot ability, I would probably single load even if there were a magazine available. Thanks, Jim

Other .177 PCP maximum grain size I can shoot for pellets and slugs?

I'm quite new to the game and have bought my first airgun, PCP PX120 x3 from a local company. My confusion is that the company only claims pellet performance of their own pellets, on YouTube there are videos that are showing shooters shooting slugs of other manufacturers with it. Grain size...

Daystate How long does Daystate support its electronic components before 'killing' the support?

Curious: When did Daystate introduced its first electronically equipped PCP? And is it still supporting that model's electronics? (i.e. replacement parts.) Or did it kill support? If Daystate killed support, how many years after introduction did it kill support? This matters as there's...

    New Benjamin Gunnar

Reximex nyx but I'm sure we all knew that by now. I have the Gunnar and it's extremely accurate. Underpowered. But dependable and not a bad first PCP. Mine came with a compressor so the gun only came out to about 600, which is about the max you'd want to pay for it. But again, extremely accurate...

Big Power in a Small Package: Meet the MicroStrike

Its too weak to have such and high Score. You have plenty of similar guns that can get over 30 ft pound. For 40-50yd+ shots it matters. But otherwise its a great small PCP.

Airforce Is Airforce Talon .177 (no P, no SS) backyard friendly if I tune it down to 700-750 fps ?

I want to buy my first PCP but most rifles around 500-600$ that shoot .177 are way too big. And only talon that look good, compact, no air leakage review. Only problem that the noise is level 5. Im broke so cant spend 100$ for talonSS and another few hundred buck for a silencer. TY!
