He's asking about 40y to 55y.....Not 100y to 1000y. In terms of moa...shooter error won't magnify at longer distances. If you have a 1 moa wobble....it's 1 moa at any distance. Since he's talking about indoors....surely wind isn't a factor. Mike

You can extrapolate 40 to 55 just fine. I've done it at 25 then checked at 50 and it was very very close. Mike

I used to use the crosman one with a lanyard around my neck in ft. Worked pretty well.

Cole...maybe you could just make it a 50y slug 5x5 challenge. Lots more could participate. The goal should be 5 consecutive 5 shot groups on the same paper at 1 moa or below....not average of the 5 groups. In my opinion, of course. Mike

I had a similar experience coming home. My flight was late and my connection in Dallas took off before I could make it. Overnight in Dallas, then back in the airport at 4:30 am and arriving at home in Montrose around 6:00 pm. I was at least thankful that our gear made it there and back...

The only way I have found to stay way below the knee is with a super heavy hammer. You can hold a 10fps spread at 8-10% below the plateau pretty easily with a 100gr hammer in my gun.

It could very well be that the foam was water absorbent. There was no evidence of any corrosion whatsoever from the trip both ways, though. They arrived exactly in the same condition as they left and in exactly the same places as when we left. I tried the same thing with regular foam first...
