Depends what I'm hunting and conditions. All small game and pests i use an airgun. Wing shooting fowl and big game all powder burners. The beauty of airgun hunting is the ability to do it often and in places a firearm isn't feasible or allowed, same reason I hunt archery.

This one is the standard (15" ish barrel) so a bit shorter than the L version. But I agree it still seems excessive. I own an Evol 15" and with around 155 bar reg I shoot the same slugs around 950 fps. I kind expected performance comparable to that.

I do not understand why they say that, because you can simply adjust your regulator. I adjusted mine from the factory 120 bar, to about 145 bar very easily.

I own a katran compact in .22 and LOVE it. I also would like to know where parts could be sourced from. I would love to be able to switch mine to a 177 for plinking around.

I had linkage pin issues with my wildcat bt and my maverick (basically same gun) . I ended up going to the hardware store and installing roll pins. That made it alot better, they would walk out a bit from time to time but never fell out again

Optisan cp 10x32 ( or other magnification/objective) and the vector veyron 3-12x44 ffp are great options. Been running both for years for farm pesting and they have been excellent.
