Western Airguns Western Airguns Mordax Venom

Fo me the whole reason I picked up a Mordax was because it was compact. It basically replaced the Leshiy classic I had parted with some time back. Sure I could of picked up one of the L2s but there are just too many things that dont appeal to me. I have also had other EdGuns. Well, I no longer...

Western Airguns Western Airguns Mordax Venom

I dont do to bad shooting out to 104 yards. Have one is .22. I take pest birds at that distance. Is it a bit far for the platform. Sure. But it can do it.

Airgun Technologies I almost screwed up and sold this one…

I had a Vulcan .25. Was the second generation version. Loved that thing and regret selling it. Out of all the other airguns I have let go that was the one I wish I kept.

    Other Gk1 still best?

Here is my Mordax setup. Shooting H&N barracudas .22 18s at 790fps currently. Could get more power out of it but im liking the shot count. Reaching out to 104 yards on pest birds.

Western Airguns How'd you like the Mordax?

I like mine and have been shooting it a fair amount. I do have mixed feelings about how high its priced for what you get. But over the last year or so I have watched the price of airguns go up a good bit. Really my only gripe would be the trigger. However it seems that most if not all...

    Favorite .22 PCP?

Mini EvoL. I have been shooting my Mordax in .22 lately but you simply could not compare the 2. The EvoL is just overall a better airgun. Honestly, The Mordax was not worth it.

    N/A Best airgun oil?

I tend to use the thicker stuff. Like 50 weight. Have also used the thinner stuff with no issues. I would say that it really dont matter. The thicker stuff just seems to coat a bit better though when applying.

Western Airguns Western Airguns Rattler Compact .25 reliable?

Have a Mordax thats about 2 months old. Have shot the hell out of it since I got it. No issues. With that said I think every airgun is prone to a leak sooner or later. One of my EvoLs for example leaked the moment I got it home on the first fill up. Took care of it and have not had an issue...

Gk1 repaired and still won’t take air.

Curious. You may need a quick shot of high-pressure air in order to get everything to catch. I have a Mordax and they require a quick blast of HPA is empty. They are similar.

    .177 Pellets for hunting

Check out the Mordax. Similar in size to the leshiy. The stock folds in half as well as can be removed to be used as a pistol instead of a carbine. As far as I know the smallest cal it comes in is .22. Have one myself. Its pretty cool. Also semi/fill auto.

    Benjamin This is addicting.

Airguns are addicting for me as well. Have a few of them and have had several others that I sold off. I love to shoot and where Im at we can shoot in town/city within the confines of our backyard. Not going to lie. Sometimes those pigeons on a roof top are just to easy of a target. Fortunately...

    .177 Pellets for hunting

I really need to get another .177. Everything I have at the moment is .22 and .30. I had a Leshiy classic that was set up as .177 shooting the 13 grain JSBs very well. That thing would slap pigeons so hard out to 70ish yards. Out of all of the edguns I had that is the one I wish I had kept...

Airgun Technologies AGT Vixen or BRK Ranger/Atomic XR?

Check out Americal Air Arms EvoL. A bit more costly then these but these are truly field airguns. With that said there is nothing wrong with the airguns you are currently considering.

    Question for the backyard plinkers

While I do have a block wall. I shoot into 5 gallon buckets filles with rubber mulch. I also toss an old shirt or something on top of the mulch to keep it from falling out it I end up with larger holes in the lid. I shoot into the lid side. If the lid get to tore up I just change the lid. I...
