Well all I can say is he didn’t do his research.

I may be miss-labelling the condition. I shoot at 50 yards, my HW97 with Hawke airmax 6-24x50 is topped out on elevation ring using 8gr pellets. Consequently 10 gr pellets cannot even be zeroed. Mounts are Sportsmatch HTO36C high.

There is no need for a spring compressor with a 97. There are several YouTube videos proving this.

Hi Ron, I’m in BC, Canada. I have to buy local, but AGS sells Sportsmatch here in Canada. I only buy Sportsmatch myself but wondered if there was a particular model you used. I’ll assume AGS can advise what is best. It is to mount a Hawke 6-24x50 compact 30mm scope.

I don’t have a TX200 yet (but will) but are you certain the Hawke AIRMAX 8-32 would fit on it! I believe it’s a bit over 15”s.

Also it appears to me at 20 yards the AA Field 8.4 4.51 win the day in the cards shown. Mine loves the AA Field 8.4 4.52’s.

After getting my HW97 I came back to look at your groups.. OMG, the FTT 4.51 - clear winner for the day, 2 of the 3 - 5 shot groups nearly hole on hole and the other group nearly all that. I better order some. 😬

I find a lot of the JSBs are damaged, I’m assuming in transport. My HW30 loves QYS and I’ll assume the 97 will too eventually.

No consistent groups and used all the usual JSB, AA, H&N, QYS, Crossman, etc. all in the 7 to high 8 grn. HW97’s can have a long Break in period even warned by Weihrauch. They don’t shoot like the TX out of the box. I feel confident It will be hole on hole soon With more than just heavy pellets...
