    Umarex Hammer

The Hammer is a dump gun, high fills, inconsistent 100 yard accuracy and to be honest not a very enjoyable gun to shoot over the many big bores I've used. For a budget friendly gun I would invest in a modified Bulldog over the Hammer. Matt over at Pitbull Airguns is a great guy and offers some...

Huben GK1, Thoughts on the good and the not so good.

Well... I purchased the thingy, even if I stated that they have no shame to overprice it so much, and I even take a crusade to made a 3d printed 80 bucks max on materials (the pcp kit for the crossman 2240 and a crappy barrel from Gamo) pcp, double action, 23cm pistol with small game power, that...

What gauge is the right pressure, compressor or pcp gun?

The gauge on my Umarex Ready Air compressor is digital so no way of changing it. I will have to lower the fill pressure reading on it to match it up with the gun.

    Notos rotary clip

Just in case there are others out there who didn't already know this.....The screw that holds the clear cover in place is locked in position by a small grub screw from the bottom! I was using repositionable thread locker on it to adjust magazines until I accidentally discovered the set screw...

Huben GK1, Thoughts on the good and the not so good.

I think the best thing I can say about your comment is that it is disingenuous. You are ill-informed. You just bought the pistol and have yet to shoot it, yet you have no problem criticizing it. Nothing is ever perfect, there will always be some things that will over time be improved. This...

well I have a american tactical liberty nova 22 PCP, a hatsan blitz 22 and it shoots well and a umarex notos pistol that I'm getting ready to hopefully soon machine down and put a air stripper in the shroud so it will hopefully be more like a pistol.. I never put the stock on the notos, just...

new to this, looking for info on filling bottles.

You didn’t mention what caliber your rifle was, it sort of matters in that the larger the caliber, the faster it goes through air (lower shot count). And that could help determine your path. I started with an impact and bought two extra carbon fiber cylinders for it and a Umarex Ready Air...

    Gun gauge or tank gauge

I have to different tanks that read two different psi. I have used two Umarex ready air compressors set to 3000 psi and have had different readings on the tank gauges. I also used my hand pump(with a quality liquid filled gauge) to check the tank gauges and the Umarex compressors were correct...

TUXING 4500PSI PCP Air Compressor Review

My post may be pointless since you already started to learn but I wrote everything below before I realized it. Maybe it will be of use to someone else. I have rebuilt many of the square box compressors, starting with the cheapest and ending up with the Tuxing square box, realizing Tuxing...

What gauge is the right pressure, compressor or pcp gun?

When I fill my gun to 3000psi the gauge on the gun gets to 3000 about 200psi before the compressor. The compressor is the Umarex Ready Air and gun is the Sig Virtus. Same thing happens to my MPX conversion also. Common sense tells me the gauge on the guns would be the one to watch, am I right...

    Gun gauge or tank gauge

You said it!!! When you have multiple (different reading) gauges on tanks then by all means go by the one on your gun.

new to this, looking for info on filling bottles.

Thanks for the reply randy, yes, I should have mentioned I'm starting out with the .22 cal, 600 mm barrel, and DonnyFL moderator/can. I found it in stock through Palm Beach Airguns, and wont have to wait long to get it hopefully. I am also coming from center fire rifle experience, and I can't...

    My 3 Month PCP Journey

It has been 3 months since I purchased my first PCP air rifle. I now own 4**. If I keep this trend going, by this time next year I should have at least 18, right? Here is the journey so far. I own or have shot the following air rifles and I will list them in my personal order of which ones I...

FX Carbon Fiber 480cc ‘O’ Rings

Thank you. So a few minutes ago I filled a bottle that has a brand new valve assembly in it. When I went to disconnect it all the air flowed out again. I disassembled the valve and the stainless steel seat was dislodged, preventing the needle to seal on the mating surface. I’m wondering if...

THIS JUST IN! Airgun Channel's NOMAD Dead of Unknown Causes

Well, all I can add is I wish I lived closer. #1 we could get your review tanked up and done. #2 I could possibly fix that compressor or several others that didn't get in the trash yet. And all that said, I don't run my compressor nearly as hard as you do. You make your living off of this and...
