    Other Break Barrel VS. Underlever

I have 13 Weihrauch's in three calibers. Only two are underlevers. One underlever, my 97K is easy to shoot accurately because its moderately powered at 13 Fpe and heavy. It's probably the easiest airgun I have to shoot accurately. Probably my most accurate Weihrauch is my first. My 177 Hw95...

N/A What did you name your airgun

Besides my first three Weihrauchs I don't normally name inanimate objects. That was really done in reference to the Hw50 often being called the goldilocks Weihrauch and being easier for my wife to understand which gun I was talking about. Heck I had a boat i used 4 times or more a week for 18...

    Other Break Barrel VS. Underlever

I have 13 Weihrauchs. Two of them underlevers. My most accurate rifle is a toss up between a HW95 break barrel and a HW97 underlever. The 97 is around two pounds heavier and less powerful. Those two factors make it a little easier to shoot accurately. The gun itself isn't any more accurate than...

I'll have to try the Normas. Thanks for the tip

    Air Arms too heavy

10.3 JSBs? 10.3 JSB or their AA,FX clones are one of the few heavier pellets I'll shoot. Due to their fit and skirts design they don't usually hurt power much over an 8.44. Which incidentally is my best overall performing pellets across my mid power Weihrauchs. The 10.3s actually make as much...

    Air Arms too heavy

Hate to tell you guys. Heavy pellets do shorten spring life. How much might not be enough to matter. Heavy pellets as Motorhead said often induce more piston bounce. The abrupt change of direction is tough on springs. How much it hurts varies spring to spring as there's lots of factors. Factors...

What springer did you shoot today?

Really Crow? That wasn't the brightest idea. I'm surprised at you. Oh I don't think you have enough hanging targets either 🤣 Love ya Dave

    HW/Weihrauch MK1 HW77 Front Sight Assembly Question

In the future if it comes loose, it really needs a day to fully cure. I'm glad it worked out for you. I'm big proponent of what I call "chemical warfare". Using the right chemicals properly can make your life immensely easier. Using them wrong (as many do) only leads to aggravation. Be well Ron

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

That's great. BTW When i say Weihrauch 22 barrel efficiency is hit and miss. I wasn't talking about accuracy I was talking about power output. They can vary more in power output than 20 or 177. Probably because the same percentage of machining tolerance on a bigger bore makes for bigger changes...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

9.5 fpe for a 177 Hw30 is exceptional. You're getting 8.3 out of a 22 hw30. Which is about normal. I've tuned a few and the 22s are hit or miss with barrel efficiency. A good one will do 9 fpe. You're a bright man so I'm sure you know that larger bores tend to be more efficient than smaller...
