What springer did you shoot today?

They look rather interesting. They appear as though they don't weigh very much. How do they perform? Specifically, how are those triggers? I've gotten some surprisingly good accuracy from some Chinese air rifles, but the triggers always disappoint.

What springer did you shoot today?

What are those, John? I'm not familiar? They're rather unique with that stock design. Is that steel muzzlebrake original?

What was your first Pellet Rifle?

Who would've thought that looking at a photo of someones 1st airgun could make a guy feel so damned old... 🤣

What was your first Pellet Rifle?

That was my 1st break barrel. I wanted an R1 so bad that I could taste it, but the 45 was in my budget. Crazy accurate, but the spring buzz got me a lot of ridicule when my friends and family were within earshot while I was shooting. It earned me the nickname of "Durnt!" because that was the...

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

Update: The video is before I installed a new spring. I took Motorheads' and Mr. Hateful McNasty's advice and put some tension against the release lever and tried to break the action open. It seemed to hold much better. I took it down and found a slightly stronger spring and installed it. The...

What springer did you shoot today?

I got about an hour behind my .22 R1. My 1st time shooting it with it's new left hand original Beeman / Goudy stock. One of my awesome viewers noticed that I was a lefty and that I was shooting a right hand R1. As luck would have it, it turned out that he was a right hand shooter with a left...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

My apologies. That makes much more sense. :ROFLMAO: Going back and re-reading your post, and I have no clue why I misunderstood what you had clearly stated. As far as output variation goes, you may be onto something, there. Ive never really given it much thought.

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

Perhaps, but there are .22 bores that will produce match grade accuracy. I've heard many complaints about Weihrauch .22 barrels. However, in my personal experience, I own at least 9 HW rifles in .22 and they're all up to 1/2" spinners at 50 yards. That includes the 2 little 30s. albeit, it...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

Did you happen to catch my most recent video featuring the HW30 in .22 cal. If not, check it out. The 25 yard, 5 shot group it produced is pretty impressive. Especially, when you consider who was behind the trigger...

    Beeman Beeman R-7 .20 cal rebuild….. results….?

I bought my .22 HW30 used. The numbers that I'm getting are very impressive compared to the ones that I'm seeing here. I haven't opened it up yet, but I plan to because it's a buzzer. It's an incredibly smooth and accurate rifle. Now I'm curious. 7 - 8 ft/lbs should be about right for a power...

Beeman HW30s in 22cal is awsome

Thank you! It was a special order AOA marked rifle. They were offering a few models in walnut. I do have a Steve Corcoran stocked .177 cal. HW30. Beautiful rifle.

Beeman HW30s in 22cal is awsome

Here's mine. It took about 12 weeks to get here. Special order, left hand walnut in .22 from AOA. Incredibly accurate. This is my 2nd 30 in .22. My other is is in a standard stock. Coincidently, last weeks video focussed on the standard HW30 in .22. Let's just say, it performed extremely well...

Air Arms TX200 Breech Tube crushed

Some sort of misalignment goin' on there, for sure. I'd contact the dealer and see what they've got to say.

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

I keep forgetting to check on that latch when I get home from the shop. I've got quite an assortment of gunsmith quality compression springs in varying sizes and strength. I'll find something with a little more resistance than the spring that's in there now and see if it corrects the issue. I'd...

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

Chuck's right. I'd like the rifle to perform as it should. I shoot from a bag for the most part. If I plop the rifle down on the bag a little too hard, the barrel will break open slightly. I'd prefer that the latch worked properly. It's still very accurate, but it's a piece of mind sorta thing.

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

Ooops.... That would be an early model indeed. 🤣 I think that I've got a way to repair it. I was just hoping that someone had come up with an easier way.

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

That's insane! I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it.

HW/Weihrauch Ok Weihrauch Airgunsmiths, I need some advice... HW35 Barrel Latch Worn

The issue is a worn compression tube. The edge where the latch engages is rounded. Perhaps you've got a handle on where to purchase a compression tube for a 1770's vintage HW35, Frank...?
